The main thing that separates him from his creatures is his intelligence and sense of emotions. The audio also highlights the faults within a fascist regime. Davros fought for the kaled race, to enhance their victory and he payed the price. Once he became wounded he was tossed aside. Didnt Davros have a button to switch off the his life support off in Genisis. So he he has 2 suicide buttons?
I always thought that it was a panic button that Davros pretended controlled his life-support system, explaining why Nyder got there so quickly.
