NYC Subway Ride from Flushing-Main Street to Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard | June 2024

In this video, I ride the 7 Train from Flushing-Main Street to Queensboro Plaza, and then change for a train to Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard. The subway is one of the best ways to get around NYC, and is an affordable option to ride compared to other methods of transportation.

The 7 Train looks newer, was not busy, and the announcements are clear. The N/W Train looks older, was busier, and the announcements sounded more garbled. 🔉 It was interesting to see and hear the differences. Thank you for sharing this informative, efficient subway ride at night, AK! 🤗

That's because the 6, 7, N/W & R lines swapped subway cars so the 7 & R lines can be more efficient with the new subway cars.

@HengMiao The NRWQ Trains have old train models that used to belong to the G train. That is why the NRWQ Trains look older and announcements are made by the conductor.
