TH-cam recommended me one of Jackson C Frank's songs today (Milk and Honey, beautiful lyrics and soothing composition). The cover picture (which was his), made me click it. There was something about his face which spoke to me. Listening to that song and reading the comments moved me further so I searched about him and found out about his tragic life and his soulful music. After that I heard blues run the game (as it was mentioned in the video I saw about his life story and in the comments section) and all I could do was cry and appreciate the song all the more and just when the song was about to be over, I looked at the screen and there was this video, your song, your rendition of Frank's song, of blues run the game. Even in my saddest moment, I got so happy seeing you've sung this. Thank you so much Frank. I loved it. 💚
Was watching your videos and thinking how wonderful you would do this song and I’m so glad you have already done it. A beautiful cover, thank you for bringing us all so much joy:)
@@FrankWatkinson thank you for all of your content! hope u are doing okay right now during this crazy time. hmu if u ever need to talk or anything! my email is georgesutton01@gmail.com
@@georgesutton3870 Thank you ,i think i must give the impression i'm hurting inside but i'm fine really ,i have had a few people ask if i'm ok up to now, thanks again anyway.
Love this song. First version I heard of this was a cover by Wizz Jones. Your style and voice remind me a lot of him. I reckon you could do a great cover of his song 'Lucky the Man'. Would love to hear that! You must get a lot of cover requests
I maybe fluid but i'll admit i am not too great if the songs have loas of chords and riffs up and down the neck, i have about 7 nothing really expensive but roughly 6 to 7 hundred pounds when i bought them ,but the one i use most because i like how it records is a £30 second hand Yamaha f310.
Catch a boat to England baby
Maybe to Spain
Wherever I have gone
Wherever I've been and gone
Wherever I have gone
The blues are all the same
Send out for whiskey mama
Send out for gin
Me and room service babe
Me and room service honey
Me and room service
Well we're living a life of sin
When I'm not drinkin' honey
You are on my mind
When I'm not sleepin' babe
When I ain't sleepin' mama
When I'm not sleepin'
Well you know you'll find me crying
Try another city babe
Another town
Wherever I have gone
Wherever I've been and gone
Wherever I have gone
The blues come followin' down
Livin' is a gamble baby
Lovin's much the same
Wherever I have played and
Whenever I've thrown those dices
Wherever I have played
The blues have run the game
Maybe tomorrow honey
Somewhere down the line
I'll wake up older
So much older mama
I'll wake up older
And I'll just stop all my trying
Catch a boat to England baby
Maybe to Spain
Wherever I have gone
Wherever I've been and gone
Wherever I have gone
The blues are all the same

Anyone know what kind of guitar he has? It sounds great
Yamaha F310 very cheap.
Oh, fuck yes.
Please teach me how to play this song as you do 🤙
I’d also love to hear you sing Shrike, Cherry Wine, or Like Real People Do by Hozier!
I will give them a listen bit i know for a fact i struggle with his stuff.

Hey, Frank.
You are very fluid with that guitar. How long have you been playing now? (:
And how many beauties do you currently have?

And haha, I also have a Yamaha F310. Pretty solid what it costs.
