Aside from the occasional charity performances and though only twelve shows in Japan, this tour was George's first since 1974, so I'm sure this and more was documented. Look at "Get Back" and the AMAZING material that was uncovered there. It's just matter of time before Olivia and Dhani release the footage. Like The Beatles® brand itself, I'm sure the estate is planning the continuation of his musical legacy for decades to come and long after we're gone.
Jack Gowen truly.....! he’s the one with the liberated soul...!!... u get a feeling looking and listening to him that he already belongs in a higher world and was just staying back for the love he had for all of us, for a little while longer.....just to say goodbyes 👋 .... u can’t talk that about anyone else....
❤todos ellos tienen su estilo, pero George fue muy sensible, espiritual ,místico,y con todo lo que vivió,esto lo transmite en sus letras ,hermosas y de sentir humano,no cómo hoy puras groserías ,amor y paz ❤forever😢
I am watching Get Back. It's an excellent documentary about the Beatles. George wanted to use his songs, but the boss PMcarthy, didn't want to use them. He was such an excellent song writer and performer, but so underrated. Beautiful song. I think its about the Beatles.
I think out of all the Beatles George was the most willing to collaborate and listen to others and other influences consequently his songs are so timeless. I am just sorry that I have realised this during lockdowns during the last couple of years. It's like finding artefacts at Pompeii. He was always the quiet, humble Beatle.
What a great performance of a great song by the greatest artist to ever perform. And Eric Clapton sure didn't hurt it either. I write this with tears of joy flowing down my face. BTW I'm 82 years old.
The lyrics in this song are very simple but it's quite rare to find lyrics like this in most songs. Because usually the lyrics of most songs are just about blaming one person who causing heartbreak. Thats why this is one of my favorite song because the lyrics in this song is just more realistic.
One of the greatest and most beautiful songs ever written. Never truer words were written and sung. It pulls at my heart strings every time I listen to it.
Uma das melhores estruturas instrumentais já gravadas! É uma pena que infelizmente há raríssimas versões ao vivo do George Harrison dessa canção. Que esteja com Deus, George!
Ah, George Harrison my favourite Beatle. Makes me nostalgic for an era I wasn’t even around in. I was born in 2001. Thank you, George; you sorely underestimated yourself and the extent to which you enlightened the world and thank you for uploading and the like. Alex
This is so great. Thanks for posting this Leonid. Its hard to fathom how much great music Andy Fairwheather Lowe has helped make over the years. You can see him playing backup guitar on so so much great material. From this concert to Eric Clapton's famous unplugged album. So thanks to Andy also.
Isn't it a pity that there is only one video of George performing his best song?
you're absolutely right
Totally right. What a gem of a song
But I’m so grateful we have at least one

Isn't it shame
He did nothing to deserve dying at 58. I wish he was still alive. Peace And Love
Friggin cigarettes.
@@TheBatugan77 Yeah, it was a double blow for me - my oldest brother died at 56, same cause, only about 3 weeks before George died at 58.
Pure gold. George was the greatest ever.

@@alchemist436 , I have the same feeling and I like so much how you describe it.
George and Eric.
Can't listen to him without crying ... Such an honest guy..
I can't express the reality of this song! It was George at his best!
"Some things take so long
But how do I explain
When not too many people
Can see we're all the same.."
My dear George, how we all miss you
In my 70 yrs of living I've seen most bands as you can hopefully imagine but this is something different it brought me to tears
❤todos ellos tienen su estilo, pero George fue muy sensible, espiritual ,místico,y con todo lo que vivió,esto lo transmite en sus letras ,hermosas y de sentir humano,no cómo hoy puras groserías ,amor y paz ❤forever😢
probably one of if not the greatest performance of a song ever.
Totally agree ❤
My favourite Geroge Harrison song is like an endless mystical musical mantra.
Eric's playing is sublime.
Music like this is magic and so healing. This performance shows the sensitive man, that he was. Still alive through his music. Thank you!
One of my favorite songs from my favorite person. What a great soul he is.
Same here👍😘
Me too...❤❤❤❤
A musical genius taken far too soon. Thanks for all the music George.
GEORGE IS (!!!) THE GREATEST FOREVER.
-BRIAN JOSEPH.
Dammit _ why wasn’t this on Abby Road, the White Album. Etc …
Just seeing this version for the 1st time now. What a beautiful human being. What a pity he’s still not with us.
George- one of the best songs ever written.. coming from the spiritual beatle

George didn’t want. He wanted to keep this and all things must pass for his solo album
John (Yoko) was the boss then. McCartney was the musical mind. His work with Wings in the 70s showed it.
One of the best lyrics ever written in a song, and more hearbreaking for being so real
this live vocal is even better than the album versoin IMO.
Beautiful song! Just as relevant today as it was in 1970.
Infreakingdid.
He was the most awesome of the Beatles!
It's a pity we lost George I love him he was awesome and gorgeous
This is one of those times that the TH-cam algorithm serves up a gem, otherwise stuffed somewhere in the mountains of "content".
Same for me.
God, I miss George 😢
Yes and he has Eric Clapton backing him up! One of his best friends! Thank you Eric! Thank you George!
With friends like that….🙄
George!!
It's a pity that this version isn't on Spotify, it's soul, pure soul.
Its on spotify man......isn't it a pity-live in Japan
@@suyashsingh9780 Thank you :)
But at this point in time, screw Spotify!
It’s not the same
@@suyashsingh9780Sounds like a different performance from the same tour in Japan
I shared a moment with George in 1977. I'm glad I did.
So cool the mutual respect that existed between George Harrison and Eric Clapton. RIP George. Thanks for the music and inspiration

At least up until one took the others wife. 🤷🏻♂️
Crazy lyrics to sing to a crowd who may not understand them so poetic
I wish that the Olivia Harrison would release this video (presumably she has the original, 'cleaned up' version).
I saw George Harrison in St Louis in Nov 1974. One of the best concerts ever
Never heard this song live, with this sound quality, before.
That's why he saved his best for All things must pass because John and Paul knew it was better than theirs at the end.
They sure Knew it.
My all time favorite George Harrison song.
Beautiful version, with George on acoustic guitar, Andy Farweather-Low on slide guitar and Eric Clapton playing the bluesy parts on electric guitar.
Good that be Ray Cooper on percussion?
@@johnknott6539 Yes, that's good old Ray.
And because of all their tears their eyes can't hope to see the beauty that surrounds us is in the pity!
God I wish there was a QUALITY recording.
BY FAR...the best song by any Beatle imho
FAUL McCartney AKA Billy couldn't come close to writing a song like this! So much heart and love!!
John Lennon could
@@hw343434 no he couldnt, john was too arrogant to wright a song this beautiful.
@@geezus7833 let’s start with “In My Life” by John which George himself covered in concert around 1973/74
@@hw343434 that song doesnt come close to isnt it a pity lmfao, all georges songs are selfless while lennon was always an arrogant asshole
You know all 3 of them were masters at their craft.
This is way I always love Eric Slowhand playing. This playing can’t be taught it’s in the man soul
I really appreciate how the photograher showed the split screen of Clapton's hands and face during his solo.
George music always goes right into my heart,George Thank You for all your wonderful music ❣❣❣.
Perfect 🕉
The screen quality is as if George is floating in through the ether ✌🏼❤️🙏
Being the quiet Beatle lent to the aura of intrigue around George Harrison
We love George ❤
Eric George had a love and respect for each other even Eric and patties affair couldn't come between.

Thank You Sir GEORGE
I’m AMAZED @ The BEAUTY

Brilliant! I've never seen this footage until now. George's voice sounds great here. And his two backing guitarists ain't too bad!
