Sir Ronald, the training of an F16 Pilot or for any training for that matter is 6 months. The FA50 that the Philippines is using right now is actually a training platform for the Multi Role system. Normally after certification the pilots go on other training regarding tactics and manuevers.

During the Treaty of Paris in 1898 , China was under the colonial rule of Japan because of their defeat in the Sino-Japanese War. Therefore they do not own any territory within the Philippine Archipelago , otherwise Japan would have claim it. Furthermore they don't have any business with regards to the Treaty of Paris because they themselves are under the Japanese colonial rule which is a part of centuries of humiliation in their history.

China are trying to imply that the geographic boundaries that define the Treaty of Paris outside of the 1898 map is under the territory of China which is ridiculous. Their claim is so vague and doesn't have any historical reference that the area within their imaginary 9 dash line is their maritime territory . The Philippines have evidence because during the Spanish colonial rule , the area within the West Philippine Sea has been charted by the Spaniards and claimed it under Spain. Bajo de Masinloc is clearly illustrated in the Spanish era map.
