Thank you, Dr. Toyos, for caring about snd investing in that community. I’m a glaucoma specialist in New Jersey, and I see what you see.

I called your clinic today and was told that you no longer perform Cyclo G6 Laser Mircrotherapy.

Hi Gabriela. Unfortunately, we cannot give you medical advice. The procedure is very versatile and can be used in multiple cases. The best is to consult with an ophthalmologist. In this page, you can search for ophthalmologists near you: www.iridex.com/fap

Is this procedure more effective than SLT, which I have had done, but the lowering of my IOP in both eyes only lasted 6-9 months.

Hello. Both procedures are with laser, but they are very different. The procedure referenced in this video is MicroPulse Transscleral Cyclophotocoagulation. It is to lower/control the IOP and/or to reduce the number of medications. You can learn more about it in this video: th-cam.com/video/i-s8enbCdw4/w-d-xo.html

Can we use 532 nm laser instead of 810nm

Hello Ameen. Are you asking if the MicroPulse TSCPS procedure can be performed with the IQ 532™ Laser or the OcuLight SLx™ 810 Laser? If yes, the answer is no. It can only be performed with the 810nm Cyclo G6™ Glaucoma laser.

There is pain, but not as much as traditional laser. Many patients are awake and talking when receiving treatment. It all depends on the type of anesthesia selected by the physician.
