I’m a 52 year old white dude and TheWeeknd is one of my favorite artists. I know folks consider him R&B, but for me he is much more reminiscent of trip hop, a cool genre from the 90s.
You should react to the full album bro.
Wavyy Vegas
There’s a lot of other stuff I’m doing at the moment, but eventually I think I’m going to react to each mixtape in trilogy in order! 😁
@@andyandalex Alright bruh, I subbed also 👌👌
I appreciate that, even though you may be more into The Weeknd type style, I recommend the video I did for “A Child in Time”, the vocals and instrumental for it is insane!!! Very soulful! Thanks for subbing! 😁
@@andyandalex yeah I'm a hip hop and R&B fan mostly. I've been checking out a lot of Freddie Mercury & Queen songs lately after seeing Bohemian Rhapsody trailers. I'm not a huge fan of Rovk but I'll tell ya .. they give me chills. Very talented especially with that Live Aid performance. Made me appreciate that type of music waaaay more. 👌👌

Thats awesome man, most genres have certain bands/songs that can generally be appreciated by all I feel!
If you're interested in his music I'd recommend you listen to it in chronological order because his entire discography is story. Just as you would read a book from beginning to end, it makes most sense to listen to his music from beginning to end (or present)
Amin Azhar
That makes sense, if I were to listen to an album of his and react to all the songs for a playlist, what would you recommend? Thanks for watching by the way! 😁
AndyReacts np man it was a good reaction, always nice to see an outsiders perspective on an artist I already enjoy so much. I’d say you start with his mix tape “House of balloons” which is the first disc on the album “Trilogy”. It’s his first studio project and really gives insight to where he was in his beginnings as an artist
Sounds good, I’ll do a playlist fairly soon for it! Not sure if you’re interested in testing the water on the other side but tomorrow I’m starting a series for the album A Saucerful of Secrets, it’s from 1968, by Pink Floyd. Some of the first pioneers of psychedelic rock. Either way thanks for watching and I hope you stick around! 😁
Reacting to some of the requests that came during the Piper series! If you liked this video please like, comment, subscribe, and give me any songs you'd want me to react to next! Thanks for watching! :)
You should react more to the weeknd, you sir have my subscription
The Town!! 😍💕 I loved your reaction! This album is really something to look into if you’re wanting to feel that euphoric-and even slightly psychedelic-mood. At least for contemporary R&B, that is. I’d recommend listening to the title track of this album “Kiss land”, straight fire 🔥🔥
XOvibe
Sounds really cool, I’ll look into it! 🔥
XOvibe that’s another great song
Great reaction video. He’s a great creative artist.
This is really cool!! I always love seeing people’s reactions to The Weeknd’s old songs, because they are way different then the new music he’s put out (starboy, the hills) I’d love to see some more! You should listen to Professional, the first song on Kissland!
This is fucking amazing this guy is a genius , I’m a rap kind of guy and this guy alone birthed a passion for alternative rnb and generally rnb in me ,he is a genius and a voice through and through and I want your playlist .🤷🏿♂️😂😂😂
Great reaction mate. More weeknd please
Great reaction
xoxoxoxox xo
Thank you!
When you gonna react to the whole album? Your insight is super dope
@Jorge Quirarte
Not sure, I do want to though!
