Hi LS. The field registration in Cyclone FIELD 360 uses the VIS to position the scans relative to each other. Then a cloud-to-cloud registration can be applied in the field. When the data is imported into Cyclone REGISTER 360, all the requested steps, such as fine registration, loop closer, geo-referencing by targets, can be done.
Export the point cloud as a .E57 or .PTX or .PTS within cyclone and then import that file into a peice of software called "3D Reshaper". You'll be able to create a mesh and export as a .obj to use in 3ds max, unity, maya, cinema 4d, etc! Im using this process on a Netflix show - working in VFX department :) Hope this helps!
This is definitely not BLK360 2.0. It's a mid range scanning solution with features and workflows no other scanner can come close to. You have to see it in person to fully appreciate what it can do. I got to, and I was blown away!

Personally, I think it's a good thing that leica try to have something between the P50 and the BLK360. But yes, it's definitely look like a faro.
