This is actually super fitting for Sailor Princess Serenity when she goes yandere after Endymion dies in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon live action
This fits for sailor moon stars arc manga where they all actually die and sailor moon resets the cosmos and chaos and the only one with actual memories of that universe really are sailor cosmos and usagi. She does the lambda sacrifice knowing chaos will come back one day because of her future self cosmos. And cosmos decides to continue fighting in her own universe/future even though all her friends and family are long gone.

This reminds me of a Sailor Moon villain I made named Nightmare. She is basically Princess Serenity’s younger sister. She crash landed on Earth long ago and was adopted by a human couple. While the mother was kind and loving, the father was evil, and he abused and experimented on Nightmare. She eventually turned evil, and murdered him and everyone else in the village they lived in. She blamed Princess Serenity, as she did not come to her rescue. She went to defeat her sister, but was defeated and sealed away by Queen Serenity. Over time, she gained more and more powerful until she gained enough power to become a threat to all Sailor Moon AUs. And once Usagi dies, (yes, she dies in Nightmare’s AU.) Nightmare returned to plague the multiverse in darkness. And Chibiusa (who had gained the powers of Usagi and Sailor Cosmos.) had to defeat her.

Long story short, we all have emotions.
This is the theme song for a movie about a female serial killer who was obsessed with Shoujo manga in school and was bullied for it. Then one day she snaps and kills all the bullies. Seeing no way to turn back to a normal life, she becomes a serial killer and assassin who dresses in a black sailor fuku and only attacks during a full moon.

i don't see what's scary about this, it sounds really pretty!!! definitely fitting for some emotional moments in the show
Yeah that's how I felt. This feels somber, perhaps a little dark and hopeless. Fitting for a tragic moment but I wouldn't call this scary or evil. Maybe if there were some accompanying instrumentals to deepen this and give it more body then maybe... but as it is I personally dont feel horror coming from this piece.

The "good guy turns evil" arc. It's a cliche but a classic.
After all the insanity Usagi deals with, not only from the other girls and just the balance between a hero and a regular school girl; she just gives in to all the negativity in her heart. She can still transform, but her outfit seems to be either faded or colors have darkened. Instead of being the guardian of love and justice, she's nothing more but a powerful hoodlum. The power is intoxicating, and soon she never reverts back to normal and just keeps causing havoc.
The other guardians see their friend going on this power trip and have to find a way to bring Usagi back. Through love, support, friendship, any means necessary; they must get the meatball head they knew back from this pit of despair
This guys is truly talented and wholesome. Since I heard this guy's elfen lied version I haven't heard any other. I'm even gonna learn that version on my piano
This is as beautiful as the original tbh. I feel like it is much more sadder, yet full of vengeance. It would definitely go well during the tragic event at Moon Kingdom when it was cursed and if they didn't get reincarnated. Or it would even go well during the last arc, Stars, the second most tragic event ever and to make it even more tragic and dark, Sailor Moon would turn towards darkness and become the villain alongside Chaos.
Excuse me sir, Sailor Moon was never for kids. This is a hundred percent grown adult show!

Season 1 Sailor Venus had a blood curdling scream that haunted me for a long time. The one when she sacrifices herself during the season finale.
I've been traumatized since 2002 (as a teensy 7 year old Bee) by the manga frame of Mamoru's face melting.
They decided to recreate it for the Nogizaka musicals, traumatizing yet another generation (and whoever watches those musicals on streams/DVDs)!
In my opinion, Sailor Moon was for the children growing in the 90s. But animation for kids changed and, nowadays, it’s all about softness and cotton candy.
I don't know why, but no matter how it changes, the thumbnail, the pitch,... the main melody of the song still gives me a feeling of peace and positivity.
I enjoy this version, matches how I feel all the time.

@@kyetsunie Ah, I am fine now thanks sorry I didn't respond a year ago 😅. Just hard times during the lockdown and frustration in myself for letting myself slip in motivation for everything. I am slowly picking up the pieces to redo what I failed to do when I had no motivation.

I love that slow ending part the best, that gave me a more haunted feeling than the entire more dramatic and technically accomplished beginning.
Wow, I got chills several times and actually started crying when it gets to the locket part near the end around 3:46. This entire piece is so beautiful.
It actually fit sailor moon, Hotaru being took over by a demonic alien, Chibi usa being manipulated by Wiseman and turned into Black Lady( also she kissing her own father)

it truly is amazing how just changing the key on a piano, even when playing in to the same beat and everything, it completely changes how it comes across. in this version it comes off as a horror show, but you switch to the other side of the piano and play it the exact same way and it'll come off as the original motivational theme.

I love your versions of the songs I listened to a thousand times because even though I didn’t listen to some of them in ages, I know very well that this is not just the songs in a different set of tones. The melody is changed just enough so it’s still absolutely recognizable in such a teasing way because you expect the original theme, as you’ve been used to all this time. It’s giving old songs a whole new meaning in a much more wonderful way than a simple remix or anything of that kind. Your work is a true masterpiece!

It actually does. There are some pretty dark scenes in it, especially in the original manga.
Of course it has, especially in the manga when sailor soldiers literally died by being ripped apart, young girls being burnt to death, both Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask got their flesh melting off their skull at one point in the story,...
Piano tiles are so scary!! "Will it go well with Sailor Moon?" I thought that, but it goes really well with the music, and the performance is really cool!!! Have a good look at the video!!

Funny thing is that this really fits a story idea that after becoming sick of the dark abyss we mortals reside in, our senshi protagonist actually joins the cosmic horror in bringing about the end of the universe.
This brought me to tears at the end. Wow. Literally a work of master class art

Very beautiful arrangement! I remembered Rachmaninov. There is a similar energy in many of his works. Power mixed with soaring parts. The whole palette of emotions in one bottle, not mixed, but flowing one into the other. Amazing!

Wow this is so beautiful and very intense and actually I feel like this dark version of "Moonlight Densetsu" would fit perfectly well in the scene in "Sailor Stars" where Sailor Galaxia brutally slaughters each of Sailor Moon's friends one by one right before her very eyes. It was a very depressing and intense scene for sure and Sailor Moon was of course very shattered at the losses of all her friends and yells at Galaxia to give them all back. Poor Sailor Moon. Honestly now that I think about it "Sailor Moon" is already a pretty dark and sort of scary show/series in of itself. With the manga being a whole lot darker too. Anyway you did such a phenomenal and splendid job on this beautiful piece. You really know how to take something so lighthearted like "Sailor Moon" and turn it into something really dark and I just love that. Keep it up my dude. 😁👍💗
