Attack on Titan was my childhood, and this just hit so...differently. While listening to this I got a memory of my old best friend, me, and my sister going down to the promenade when we were 12 on a really starry night and listening to guren no yumiya by the sea. Now I think of it, it almost mirrored Eren, Mikasa and Armin. I’m sorry that wasn’t relevant but, I thought I’d share anyways

AOT's soundtrack is riddled with motifs, Im sure the end credits will either have nothing playing at all or something very similar to what we've been hearing all along

I don't see them doing something like this for the ending. I don't see them even using the GnY motif again, because it no longer fits thematically. Revo will probably create an entirely new theme for final season that'll be more sad and downbeat in itself
I dunno, if you look at the lyrics of Guren no Yumiya's full version, it... kinda gives hints to things all over across, until the current AoT chapter (135, so far). Especially near the end, there's the line about a (free) world that Eren has wished for all along. Definitely feels like it hinted at what he's doing right now. Plus, melodies of Guren no Yumiya have been put into Jiyuu no Tsubasa and Shinzou o Sasageyo.
I can just imagine this at the credits of the final season, With clips playing of characters dying aswell as some funny AoT moments..It's gonna have so many mixed feels-- ;-;

Whatever I expected clicking on this video, you have far exceeded it. This goes beyond just slowing down the song, you have added a certain lyrical touch to the rhythm that completely transformed it. This is absolutely stunning and as a fellow pianist I applaud you.
The melody of Guren no Yumiya is infused with a special emotion of an adrenalin like rush of joy an excitement, and that feeling can never be taken away. Non-the-less I still congratulate you on your attempt and am happy to see you upload.
Pretty dope ngl, I wondered if this dude watch Jojo since some of the characters have quite a sad life, it would be interesting to see their theme made like this. Noble Pope(Kakyoin theme) and Polnareff part 5 theme kinda suit well ngl, especially Polnareff turtle got his sister killed and the crusaders but still manage to put in work against God DIO himself and the gangster devil lol
