He keeps adding an “h” sound before O'ahu and aloha and it is soooo annoying!!

He also neglected to say the Queen was the last Monachy and overthrown by her White Cabinet members. Then it was "Annexed", more like stolen by the new Government & the United States Government. He also mispronounce most of the Hawaiian words. I am from Hawaii and this is an unresearched "documentary".

It's been awhile since I went to Hawaii but at that time rental cars we're cheaper than about any other place I had gone. Hope to go next year covid-19 permitting. Now parking a rental car at a hotel has about tripled to around $50 a day at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. So I may only rent a car for a few days and used the bus service and taxis for the other places I want to go that are close to Waikiki. There was none of this mess when I was there in 2007. I went five times between 2001 and 2007. My purpose for going next year is to select the location for my daughter to leave some of my cremains after I pass. The rest will be buried in Illinois but Hawaii has always been so special to me. I hope I'm not disappointed next year. Maybe I could stay at the Hale Koa for the days I have the rental car because parking is cheaper and then stay at the Hilton when I don't have a rental car but my rooms will be free at the Hilton and not the Hale Koa. Watch out for the jellyfish. Pay attention to the signs.

Ouais disons que je me débrouille plutôt bien en anglais mais pour ce qui est de la naration, je suis vraiment meilleur en français. 😂 Mais bon, je me suis dit que pour les documentaire, j'allais maintenant les publier dans les deux langues. C'est à peine plus long et le dernier que j'ai fait comme ça à atteint plus de gens en anglais qu'en français.
Et pour la transition, je n'en fait pas souvent mais quand je vois une oportunité d'en faire une belle comme ça, je saute dessus. Contant que tu l'es remarqué! 😉

Idk I've lived all over the US and Oahu has always been my happy place and the only place I can consider home. And it has some of the nicest people I've met. So to me it's pretty great

Hi Josh. I think I will try Maui next time. Well yes it was crowded but I find it was only crowded aroud Waikiki. I take the buss several time to go around the island and I was almost alone in many places. But sure, Maui look more natural.

Uh, you repeatedly pronounced the island "Ni'ihau" wrong. It is prounounced "Nee ee how", or just "Nee how".
If you know Spanish , You pronounce words as if you are reading Spanish . If a Vowel is alone do not attache a J sound... A is pronounce AH... of corse the His silent

You are pronouncing the Hs like a French speaker, you need to use a hard H like in English, also it seems you are adding them where there are none. It must be difficult to switch from French. Meanwhile French is very hard for me to pronounce, lol!
Well this is normal, I am a French speaker. I don't think there is a ''right'' way to prononce it. English is not even speak the same way in USA, UK and Australia. That's what happen when a language is so largely spread.

People are so cynical nowadays, the fact that you tried is better than most, besides, you’d think people here would be more aware of the fact that (whether willingly or not) that Hawaiian is, due to christian missionaries, heavily anglicized, so it can be rather difficult for those who don’t speak English by default.
