We attended last century a free recital given by this enormous piano talent at the university where we graduated. In the audience were music professors who began checking and reviewing their resumes to see what had been left out or what was missing. Music students were thinking of changing their area of study and some chose physics. What would special education services have done for him today? Superior natural talent for sure makes people wonder what would have happened to so many like him without the same luck.

There's a lesson here: don't overlook the bargain bins in used record stores. Hidden gems can appear in them.
