On a cordless dewalt drill , I recommend setting the drill on the slowest speed. And switch the clutch on the drill down to about 8 or 9. That way if the bit drabs it won’t twist your arm off.
    Thanks for posting .

I would suggest talking to the Norseman rep, learning the answers to the difference between the spirals, learning to listen to what the bit is telling you, and NOT rotating the drill in a circle. This tool is for aligning, deburring, and making precise, clean holes. He looked more like a guy trying to get a fish hook unstuck from weeds than a specialist reaming a hole. Specialist might be a bit of an overstatement. This video made me cringe... a lot. I learned a lot from this video, but it wasn't anything to do with reamers. Still, give the guy in the video props. He stepped up and did a demo clearly out of his comfort zone, and the balls to post it on youtube. Gotta respect that.

To restate what others have already said, he is clearly out of his comfort zone. This guy makes videos about a very vast range of products, therefore it's impossible to be perfect at everything. You can tell just by looking at his hands that he doesn't just count cash and take photos -- he works. He only took about $60 of HSS off of that reamer when he did (what we have all had to do at least once in our lives) the side twisting motion. This is no different than watching "Jerry Rig Everything" intentionally destroy a brand new iPhone or Galaxy phone. I would assume Norseman donated the reamers, therefore damage is a non-issue. An engineer somewhere most likely took notes on product durability. That being said, another one of the engineers at Norsman most likely broke a computer after watching this mutilation. This is exactly why (if you read) the user manuals on products they have an extremely idiot proof guide - including diagrams with circles and X's on them. This channel has some really good videos on subjects that you will not find elsewhere. Some of these subjects are not even easily found via web searching or Wikipedia. Ask a 20 year old today if he/she knows how to select and use a rivet gun on a joint -- you will most likely receive a deer-in-the-headlights stare. Riveting is almost a lost art with the advent of cheap spot welders, Harbor Freight welders, and online purchasing of any bolt/nut/grade imaginable. Engineers, architects, construction workers, contractors, machinists, and welders are the type of people that might have already been taught these skills. To the average 25 year old first time home buyer this is all voodoo. Instead of complaining, I would like to do what others have not and say thank you for taking the time to produce these videos.

DieselPunk Cummins Right. Was wondering why he felt the need to twist the drill around as if he is using a standard drill bit to enlarge a hole (the ghetto way)....reamers are meant to precisely enlarge a hole to a dimension, why are you twisting the reamer around?!?!

That is definitely not how to use a a reamer that’s called butchering
