I really love when people who know and really are into music discover Dimash and go through The Singer episodes, it's so nice to watch. His new stuff is amazing, of course, but I think it's always good to watch at least 5-6 The Singer episodes before moving on to his more recent performances to really appreciate how much he has grown and how bold he has become in his choices.

Dimash: ❤️❤️❤️ ... listen, I’m an old man (72) and have been around the musical block, but I have NEVER heard anything like this; he INHABITS the song: great artists do this and coupled with his (obvious) genetics (a six octave range) and lifelong training from the age of five (both of his parents are opera singers), he KNOWS what he’s doing, the technique, breath control and note placement, everything is flawless; but it is his ability to communicate the essence of the song that touches the soul and makes the performance timeless ... just saying ...

Great job as usual! Whenever you want to react to non-Dimash songs, this is a great opportunity to react to Lara Fabian's original. Dimah sang several of either her originals or covers she did earlier (Adagio, Mademoiselle Hyde, the love of tired swans, Love is just like a dream). A Dimash lo respaldan 20 años de formación musica, por supuesto talento natural, pero tambien mucho esfuerzo y disciplina, práctica 3 horas diarias para ejercitar sus cuerdas vocales. Actualmente estudia una maestria en composición musical, luego de cada interpretación examina lo que no le gusta o lo que el considera un error y trabaja sobre ello. Dimash es oido absoluto. Toca muchos instrumentos; piano, guitarra, percusión, dombra. Tiene un profesor vocal que le asesora cuando interpreta otros idiomas que no son los maternos como el Kasajo y ruso, porque para cada idioma por fonetica tiene que modular de forma diferente, es perseverante. Canta excelente en italiano por su formación lirica. Estudia Mandarin e ingles. El ingles de Dimash del 2017 quedo atras en el 2019 su pronunciacion es muchisimo mejor y ahora entiende y habla con mayor fluidez. En un par de años será mas que alucinante, porque ahora sus graves son mas poderosos y melodiosos, se escucha increible, tan alucinantes como sus agudos. Tienes que escuchar Love is like a Dream, Know. Saludos, gracias por tu reacción.

You also noticed this. Dimash is focused not only on vocals but also he shows the action on stage he is a real performer. Many people call his showmen but for him this is not a show he lives through all the emotions that we see and passes through ourselves. This is the only way the audience gets goosebumps and some are very impressed on the verge of shock.
The USA is going to get the chance to see all that showmanship, 1st with Igor Krutoy October 26, 2019 Barclay Center Brooklyn, NY- he will be doing a duet with Lara Fabian and others, then Dimash has his SOLO concert, same location on December 10, 2019. The Dears are out of their minds. They are coming from all around the world to NY for the DIMASH DELIGHT, hope you can be there.

Love all your reactions and insights. Next, Late Autumn (aka Autumn Strong) episode 4 on The Singer 2017, please. It’s exquisite. I recommend you watch Gloria Wu’s video that gives the backstory (maybe on your own then just react to the performance?) Gloria’s videos have English translations. (Thank you, Gloria!). Dimash did not know Mandarin but he chose this song because he wanted to thank the Chinese audience for the warm welcome he had received. He learned the lyrics phonetically in a week and worked very hard on his pronunciation and to convey the sadness and emotion of the song. I understand from native speakers that his pronunciation was quite good. During the bridge, Dimash sings what was played by instruments in the other versions of the song. It’s pretty remarkable and hauntingly beautiful.
