There's been a lot of blackbirds eating the berries in the rowan tree outside my window, so for a few days I have been sketching them. I used to use only black ballpoint pens for sketching for the longest time, and then moved to pencils for the last few years. I should try a ballpoint pen again and see how it feels now 😄

I watch while working my full time job. Seeing you draw, and not being able to draw at the moment myself, really builds up that motivation and desire. I just want to draw right now! And I can't!
Blue pens and other dark-colored pens besides black add a little extra something that makes doodling more fun
I love this sketchy style, it's so pretty! the collage aspects are really fun too ❤
I draw while i listen to ur videos and i dont know what you put in them everytime my piece, or doodle, or whatever turns out so good 💗💗
if you want something unusual to draw, look up a micro-lifeform called a tardigrade, or water bear, they are so cool and I think your style would make them super cute!
Love all the textures in this spread!! I also love drawing in pen, but mainly just because I can’t stand the way graphite rubs off on the next page

I collect bugs and idk about the whole community but the majority of the bug collecting community and all of the people I’ve meet who preserve pinned or resin cased insects source them humanely, either with bugs they find or they take care of the insects until they die of naturally causes (most insects don’t live very long, unfortunately). Like, you get a moth larva, raise it until it’s reaches its last metamorphosis, then when the moth naturally passes away you scoop it up and pin it. I also have met people who keep pet tarantulas and pin their shed exoskeleton’s whenever they grow bigger and also preserve bones/animals they happen upon that are already dead. Vulture culture I believe it’s called.

Your art looked awesome, and good ideas! I was painting my OC in gouche while watching, trying out painting on wood for the first time basically as well!
I tried a warm up while I was watching this. Just took some markers and colored in some rectangles all over the page. Then doodled over them with pencil and then black ink. No rules, no perfection, like you said (here or in another video, I've been bingeing a few). But yeah, it was a fun and freeing process :) And got me more in the mood to draw.

Your videos inspire me a lot to work on new things that I’ve never tried drawing before. While watching this video I worked on studies of chubbier bodies, and your voice sounding constantly made me more inspired to learn.

This is such a cute page! I'm a sucker for purple, it's my favorite color.
I think you might like the sharpie S-gel pens, especially in blue. They're really smooth, and the blue one breaks down in water into blues and purples! I have a couple vids recently that show how it breaks down, it's really cool!

one thing I do to preserve acrylic paint is buying or makeing a rasied pallet then putting saran wrap over it (I made a pallet buy cutting up a icecream lid so you just have the outer frame and glueing it onto another icecream iid)

I want to start drawing more, improving etc. since I've not been too inspired so while I watched this (will do this on a later date) I started a witchtober challenge! nothing I'll share but something for myself and to get back in the groove of things :)
This video was so inspiring! Your art is sooo cute!!! I was drawing my animal characters doing different things in scenes in my sketchbook with a simple pencil. I will definitely draw with a ball point pen in the next 10 mins. 😁😆
Many people that collect dead bugs get them from people that breed these bugs or keep them as pets; at least that's the case for butterflies, moth and big spiders (e.g. Tarantulas)

I use highlighters a lot in my sketchbook, I love the colors and the feel on paper 😊
