I (male) turned eighteen about four months ago and my dad kicked me out six months back because my jerk half-brother Derek (24M) decided that he was moving back here, and he didn’t want to rent out a place like a normal person, so he wanted to live with my dad. For context, Derek is my dad’s son from his first relationship. But Derek’s mother and my dad broke up soon after he was born, so they didn’t really have much of a relationship afterward. Derek is a lot closer to my dad than he is to his mother so we spent a lot of time together growing up because he would come over more often than was required legally as per his custody arrangement. I’m pretty sure that he was supposed to spend half of the month with my father, but I remember being around him all the time, or maybe that was just my brain exaggerating things because I hated spending time with him, but my dad forced us together. I also know for a fact that he didn’t like me much and saw me as a threat to him.

My guess is they want to say they put it in Op's college fund, then have Op agree. Then give them the college fund to pay it back. No, no, and hell no. Op's dad wouldn't help Op by peeing on him if he was on fire, like hell he would help OP if he was caught embezzling.

@@Nielak-dg8njI'm pretty sure Op's father doesn't have a college fund for Op to even give the father. I think Op should ask his grandparents to get him a lawyer for HIMSELF so he can give a deposition for the CEO to say what his father said on the call he made to Op and what Op told him.

@@shells500tutubo You could be right. I just assumed mom and grandparents given him their there savings over the years and maybe she had a will that gave some of her life insurance to his college fund. Maybe he doesn't actually have one? Which makes this whole scheme coo coo for coca puffs.

If OP did lie for them, then he would also be in trouble as an accessory to the crime. They both had a nerve asking OP to help them after the way they kicked him out of the house! You should never lie to help someone else to cover up a crime!

A lot of people are raised to be "family first". To sacrifice for blood relatives through thick and thin regardless of what happened. It can be a great family dynamic if the family actually cares for eachother and helps eachother grow. But it also has the risk of being extremely exploitative. "Family first" can be financially, emotionally, and socially exploitated which is exactly what the sperm donor in this story was trying to be.

Omg the stories on this channel are nothing but fiction read by a person who absolutely needs more practice & should definitely practice reading outloud more often!
