Id suggest cleaning the window edge with denatured alcohol prior to applying the gasket or sealer.... Nice way to minimize high glass costs. Great job

Love the split screen. LOL. Well done! I love your car too my friend. I'm working on a 1938 Chevy Business Coupe at this time and I love it. Your videos are awesome and you've got a great screen presence. Keep up the good work! God bless!

I would have put a bead of that sealant between the body and the seal because I over do everything, and if your driving in the rain with the wind pushing the water it always finds a pinhole and drips on you. I half expected to see Dave with the hats reflection in the background of one of the windows while you worked. The glass looks good in there.

Great work dave on the glass works... And that's exactly the type of rubber i told you about when you were doing the glass palettes and knew the prices... The generic works amazing and just does the job... Wish to see the power windows section so u d have all the car's glass done for good!

great video showing installation of glass. appreciate it. I am assuming that you made templates for glass and took them to local glass shop. I am new to this and will have to do this on my 35 pontiac coupe.

Looking cool Dave. It looks like you were off cruising for chicks. Ha-Ha.😎 I love the intro. If I were you, I would tape it in place plus have a moving matt over the dash and steering column in fear the glass would slip. But it all worked out for you in the end. Thanks for sharing. 🍁👍👍

I sure hope your window/windshield sealing method works. My unfortunate experience has been that "water finds a way" to go where you don't want it to go. I ultimately had to install the factory style seal to fix the leaks on my 37 Ford. Driving in the rain will be the test.

Got to be honest with you Dave. The windows look great. I didn’t think that was going to go, as well as, it did. My question is how well the front window will last over time, given the flex caused by air pressure. Time will tell. Good job 👍

Did you enlarge the size of the glass to compensate for the lack of the factory rubber, or is it regular size ? Have been wondering about that. Carry On ! Great Job ! I am building a 1939 Chevy 5 window coupe

    • @ScottRods

@@ScottRods I am watching this on Sat morning and just before the end of your video my TH-cam developed a problem and your video is slowed down by about 25%, when I made my comment I thought it was just your video that is why I wrote the last sentence.
