    A friend of my Dad had a 36 Chevy coupe. My dad helped him build it. The sectioned the dash from a 57 Chevy and put it in the 36. I last saw it in the late 70s. Beautiful car. Yours looks great too. Thanks for the video and memories.

    One thing that I've enjoyed, is every time you needed something you'd just shake the shelves , and something would fall out and you'd make it work. great creativity Dave

    I definitely have enjoyed watching your build,and look forward to your videos. Im just an old stock car guy and have built a few roundy round cars but nothing for the street. I sure enjoyed your being humble and dealing with adversity (learning process) and the help youve had from your viewers (and Ted of course) helping with advice and guidance and your perseverance. Pretty cool a guy can build this in his driveway/garage with basic tools.. Looking forward to you enjoying all your hard work and driving your dream.

    Hello. I really appreciate your videos because I have a 1936 Oldsmobile 4 door sedan which is very similar to your car. I am about to tackle the sagging doors with a plan similar to yours. It's nice to see that it worked. I am also " hot rodding" the car. Don't have the same skill set as you but I'm getting there with the help of friends and beer. Your car looks nice. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

    I am not one to nitpick but the thing that I feel needed to be pointed out is the poor fitment of the leather seat covers.The thing that makes or breaks a car is the builders attention to detail as it takes the build to another level.

    Bet your HOA loves the car sitting in your driveway!! Here where I live if I owned that, they jerks around me would have a tow truck loading up my car at MY EXPENSE even if it had plates on it!! Just goes to show you how truly crappy some places are to live!! The sad thing is they forced my neighbor to get rid of his classic car which was a 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix (limited NASCAR edition) with the "aero coupe" rear window!! And his car was legally licensed, inspected, and on the road, though he only drove it on "select days" because of its "rare status"!! In fact they (the Home Owners Association) demanded he either sell the car or drive it more and claimed it was an "eye sore" in the neighborhood!! Which that too is a F**KING JOKE because our "neighborhood" is a silly A$$ trailer park!!! And likewise the place across the street from both my neighbor who owned the car and myself was abandon, owned by the park itself and sat around in disrepair for at least SIX YEARS, and yet they gave him crap about his car, when their own home (the parks') was a $hit pile eye sore we had to look at daily!!
    Hell one of the other tenants they had here rode a Harley to and from work all summer long when his car broke down.....they ended up evicting him under a noise rule, which is strange because the park maintenance person drives a truck with a straight pipe exhaust and he is still allowed to live here!!

    • @ScottRods
      @ScottRods  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We don't Have a HOA. I would never live in a place with one. If anyone has a problem with me I encourage them to let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate them. So far no-one has complained.....so far, lol.
