The most thing i DON'T like about this game is that I so suck at it that i prefere watching your movies than play it myself :D Today - six hours straight but its motivating. Great ideas, I love your videos. I recently got into this game and love the whole feel of it. I like the combat axe with either a double barrel or pistol of choice if I'm trying to save money up, my loadout is usually under 100$ with my medkit. The axe one hits almost everything besides Meatheads and bounties. I have alot of fun with the axe 😅 cheap and fun to watch people freakout when you charge with it raised. 😂
There is this build a friend of mine came up with. Take like a Sparks/Martini/Springfield as your primary, secondary you take like a combat axe, machete etc., and as a tool you take the derringer. Sparks for the first shot, finish with the derringer. For close range, you take your Cavalry Saber or other melee weapon you equipped. Works pretty decently.
@@palmo34 I thought this as well but it's actually not a prefire, you can see the guy just running up from the corner. He's just so well camouflaged by the tree behind that he is difficult to see, but that shot was on reaction, not prediction.
Romero - Pax is my favorite loadout right now. I love playing with shotguns and revolvers as it really forces you to think cleverly and outsmart your opponents with positioning and movement. If I had to choose my favorite guns it would probably be Romero, Pax, and Lebel close behind.
I cant believe you do subtitles. As someone who edited videos where I had to do subtitles they take FOREVER. Props to you man. Keep up the great content.

Definitely do more budget loadouts! It adds a whole new element to it, maybe try a few free hunters where you give yourself only $100 to customise the loadout you get and wipe the server
gotta say, my favorit budget loadout right now is springfield marksman with pax fanning, you can snipe people pretty good and still have the pax fanning for up close, and to me the biggest drawback for pax is the low ammo, which you solve by taking the springfield with you
I'm not gonna lie Mike, this is by far one of my favorite videos by you. It gives us the needed break downs for each of the load-outs and makes playing against much better Hunters more managable. As I'm sure most of us can agree we all don't have the time needed to be able to learn all this about any particular game we might be playing, having someone like yourself who breaks everything down is super useful. As a note those clips are super juicy and I'm only sad that it wasn't something live streamed! Ever since the most recent DLC hunter came out I like to run a theme build using his Bow with a Pax Claw and obviously the Dusters, It's pretty fun to be semi-silent with the Bow then ambush with Pax fanning.
I just started playing a few days ago, and I've been pouring through your videos learning things. I wasn't bad before, but you've definitely helped me get an edge in the past few matches.
So, I've been watching your content for quite some time. Rarely comment , but I have to say you are by far the most enjoyable Hunt content creator, the personality , humor and quality is extremely high in every video, The amount of effort you put into each video is impressive. For whatever its worth I really appreciate it . That's taking nothing away from your cast of characters who are also extremely fun to watch, You've found the angle that works really well and I hope you keep it up. Maybe one day you wont need the night time disclaimer so people dont think you're cheating LOL. This is definitely a game that deserves even more recognition than it currently has.
@@PsychoghostGaming I think most of us are ok with niche, keeps the scum away. But id love to see it grow just so developers have more money to invest into paying staff to keep making a great game. Just seeing it grow this far is inspirational.
Really surprised there were no Springfield loadouts. Any compact Springfield variation + any sawn-off shotgun plays really well in my experience and gives you great versatility without needing Quartermaster.
MagneticJerk, the only downside is if you queue up with randoms with $1000+ load outs they immediately leave. Usually takes me a few tries if I don’t go solo.

Trying to play trios usually takes at least 5 tries to find a match where someone isnt dissatisfied with either someones loadout or prestige level. Wouldnt be so bad if the remaining two could just search for another third guy instead of having to leave and rematch.
I played Hunt for a long time, had to take a long break, but the Pax was my most consistent “winner” in terms of cheaper guns. Really loved it. Ran with the first loadout a lot. The Romero could get me in trouble, because I was never the best shot, and if I missed or it didn’t down the player I scrambled. But even then the Pax had a sensible enough fire rate to recover and keep pressure on it most situations
My favourite budget loadout: Hand Crossbow + Springfield Compact Deadeye. You're good at very short range, and perform just fine at long range as long as you've got hard cover. With quartermaster, you can upgrade the springfield to a sparks (sniper or no sniper) or any long gun you pick up off the people you kill. The weakness of my loadout is medium range, and the longer end of short range. You're gonna have a bad time against people 20-40 metres away, but that's easier to deal with than when you can't handle long range - easier to cross 20 metres while under threat than 90.
My cheap loadout: Springfield rifle 38$ Nagant Officer:66$ Knife: 20$ Vitashot:10$ Medkit:30$ Dynamite:18$ Molotov:18$ Sum:200$ You oftentimes have one or more of these on a free hunter so you save money or take a cheaper pistol but the idea is to hit with springfield and finish with the sidearm. If you get 150$ from the bounties and then win some fights/loot cash/extract you WILL make a profit. Fanning on a revolver boosts the close range capabilities a lot of course.
I like the Winfield M1873 with Handcrossbow (both, poison and normal bolts) It is very cheap and effective against any AI, beside this you can kill crows and oneshot enemy players on short range And the assassin is killed very fast with the poison
Phantom Sniper Using the Sparks Loadout in a duo, have your partner equip the Nagant carbine and deadeye, hide up in a barn loft and use your partner as a target indicator, keep a bead on your partners head when his back is to you, when he crouches, that's when you shoot THROUGH the wall. With luck your shot connects and your partner can "bat cleanup"

The other day I used a compact Springfield and a compact shotgun for a budget load out and I either was getting lucky or it was working well for me. 150 meter effective range and still have a short barrel shotgun when you go indoors. No perks required. Only con is a quick follow up shot if you miss a long range headshot.

Love the videos and I just prestiged again and already broke so this is helpful lol The best part about loadout 5 is I see a lot of free hunters on the recruiting screen equipped with them and it's great to see that they are actually a pretty good option with patience and some skill
My loadout is whatever free stuff came on the last hunter I recruited after dying again. I was doing good one match with a Nagant Precision and then double Nagants. Might try the Romero hatchet when it's unlocked.
My personal favorite is Springfield compact with what ever short shotgun your feeling, its kind of weird as it is weak in medium ranges but if you get stuck there you have the option to push up or pull back unlike loadouts that are weak close or long range that you only have one direction to go
I aprpreciate that you are still teaching new stuff (pros and cons) with gameplays, the newcomers and even the old ones learn some tips, or if not, it's still fun to watch
My personal budget load out costs a total of 62 dollars, it requires fair aim however but gets me the win the majority of the time, the Springfield and the normal nagant pistol, it resembles a cheaper version of the displayed “sparks” load out and kills just the same, it’s upgrades consist of using the officer nagant with a total price of 104 dollars excluding tools and consumables. Hope this is helpful and that you enjoyed this mans video.
I've been trying martini this prestige, and I have to say I prefer it over the Sparks. Better ironsights for me, reloads much faster, and it's still 2 shots with a pistol on swap. Next prestige I'm playing the Springfield, which seems to be just the same but less range and wallbanging... for a measly 39 bucks. Regarding pistols, I tend to prefer nagant officer because it shoots fast in ironsights. I will play all 3 revolvers back to back next prestige and see which one is better (despite the current general bias). Don't look at me, I like playing off-meta.

I’ve been waiting for a video like this xD as I tend to go on losing streaks and drop a lot of hunt dollars before going on huge winning streaks, so I fluctuate. Thank you!

You could make a video about the best fishing spots in the bayou and I'd watch. I just wish the filter you used for youtube was how the game naturally looked at night. Lights really pop out and look a lot more vivid. Fire being bright as all hell makes the burning buildings look incredible and really distinct from a distance.
So, before watching this video I just had a game where I threw a give bomb in water which made it just float there. Curiosity made me shoot it which if you hit the cap opens it up. I'd love a video at port breaker where you throw a few spaced out near the walkway with other hunters. Then consecutively shoot them open as the hunters run near them. Just want to see if it's fun and plausible. But I personally don't have the skill to pull it off
The Pax/Romero really does work wonders- i personally prefer the romero talon for a good melee option right then and there that you can have without switching weapons. It oneshots to the head and that melee feature has saved me a good couple times. I like running it on the Reptilian, both so i can use the Talon skin, and so I can camouflage myself better in the nature lol
Fantastic video man I've been enjoying the sparks and borhneim loadout as well as the crossbow and pax loadout. I do want to expand my loadouts a bit though so I'll try some of the ones you recommend here ^^ I would love to see some of the stealth loadouts you think are really good as well
Biggest piece of advice for saving money. Always, always and always recruit your free hunters. Take their items, dismiss them. Use free hunters as storage for items you keep getting. (I have plenty of hunter slots because I rushed getting 10 of them total, I wouldn’t recommend more because the slider looks very annoying)
I'm just so hyped for 1.3. The Winfield is my favorite rifle in the game but it's so bloody weak. Same with the Conversion Pistol. So looking forward to that.
@@PsychoghostGaming Well, i usually skulk on the edges of the map, and can kill pretty much anything alone. Also, just in case you read this, did you know you can Combat Axe heavy attack, and oneshot an immolator, WITHOUT, taking fire damage? If you are moving directly into the immolator, and is right up in it's face, the explosion doesn't hit you.(I assume this is because the explosion starts just outside of the immolator, meaning if you are close enough, you don't get hit) That was my random Hunt fact. Great stuff Mike! Thourghly enjoyed the video and as someone who prestiged to keep the game interesting I always struggle at the beginning on what to take with my limited options. Would very much like to see some other low budget videos when you get the time.
I think a lot of these loadouts are overlooked because you "get what you pay for" when it comes to your load out, but in the right hands they can be great. You have to just think about your load out and play to its advantage.
Loadout 1 isn’t even budget for me lol. I have like 25k rn and I still run a Romero with a Pax. The Romero is the only shotty I feel consistent enough with plus I like the range and unlike the Uppercut I can actually hit things with the Pax. Great video!
I've taken to using medium weapons lately, and the Springfield Compact with Romero Handcannon has gotten me a lot of kills in early ranks. I think everyone hears the springfield, wants to push, but never expects the shotgun.
Springfield or Martini + silenced nagant is a favorite of mine, especially since it comes on white shirts fairly often for me. If I can get it reliably from free hunter loadouts, that's budget to me.
Maybe a video with High Tier loadouts...but one that aren't super common? Like, not just Mosin/Uppercut but...Sniper/Swamp Peach style loadouts. Something high end but with a twist? Loved the video!
That's the magic of high refresh rate monitors, watch again at 0.25x speed and you'll see that she showed up and her whole torso was visible when Mike took the shot.
If using the second load out in a trio, have the Sparks user go some place higher without windows and have your partners stealth flank a hunter on either side, then shoot between them...
My go-to budget loadouts right now : Springfield compact striker and Hand crossbow. 1 ammo in each weapon, but dude, they are reloaded so fast it is not a problem. Also, classic crossbow + springfield is very ok but need quartermaster so, maybe not for a new player who have not unlocked it. As for loadout number 5, I would say taking quartermaster and the Officer Carbine instead of the Nagant precision would be a step-up, although it would definitely change the loadout. Just something that went through my mind, please let me know your way more educated opinion on this. (I'm Prestige 0 Rank 57 so this is really just me fantasizing about what might be possible.) Love this video, love the way you talk "shop" in these vids. I only have about 200 hrs so still learning every game, stuff like this is great as it lets us see different play styles. Still loving the editing style, super easy to follow and super professional :)
The Romero 77 is possibly the spiciest gun for me, though consistent 180-220ms ping has made peeking other shotguns super risky lately. Sparks+nagant has been refreshing and a little safer.
I just started playing it and can't stop. Highly addictive, thank you for pushing it! I just hate having a player base that small. Sometimes I do matches with literally no enemies. This game has to have at least the player base as big as pubg.
I like to run the Springfield with a negant silencer combo. It's weak yeah but it's also really good for ranged stealth plays I think. It may not have as long a range as the Sparks but I find myself in mid range combat way more often then a sniper duel.

Weapons:
Romero 77 (regular or handcannon)
Caldwell conversion or Caldwell 98
Tools:
Knuckle knife
Medkit
Fuses (for clearing concertina armored or hives)
Choke bomb
Consumables:
2x Vitality shots
1x dynamite stick
Antidote shot/stamina shot
The crossbow shot at 26:40. The patience, and skill there was amazing. I feel your pain in that death.
The other day I used a compact Springfield and a compact shotgun for a budget load out and I either was getting lucky or it was working well for me. 150 meter effective range and still have a short barrel shotgun when you go indoors. No perks required. Only con is a quick follow up shot if you miss a long range headshot.

The best part about loadout 5 is I see a lot of free hunters on the recruiting screen equipped with them and it's great to see that they are actually a pretty good option with patience and some skill

My loadout is whatever free stuff came on the last hunter I recruited after dying again. I was doing good one match with a Nagant Precision and then double Nagants. Might try the Romero hatchet when it's unlocked.

My personal favorite is Springfield compact with what ever short shotgun your feeling, its kind of weird as it is weak in medium ranges but if you get stuck there you have the option to push up or pull back unlike loadouts that are weak close or long range that you only have one direction to go

My personal budget load out costs a total of 62 dollars, it requires fair aim however but gets me the win the majority of the time, the Springfield and the normal nagant pistol, it resembles a cheaper version of the displayed “sparks” load out and kills just the same, it’s upgrades consist of using the officer nagant with a total price of 104 dollars excluding tools and consumables. Hope this is helpful and that you enjoyed this mans video.

I've been trying martini this prestige, and I have to say I prefer it over the Sparks. Better ironsights for me, reloads much faster, and it's still 2 shots with a pistol on swap. Next prestige I'm playing the Springfield, which seems to be just the same but less range and wallbanging... for a measly 39 bucks.
Regarding pistols, I tend to prefer nagant officer because it shoots fast in ironsights. I will play all 3 revolvers back to back next prestige and see which one is better (despite the current general bias).
Don't look at me, I like playing off-meta.
Striker + sawed off romero, knuckle knife, medkit, throwing knifes, flaregun, 2x vitality shot, poison bomb and antidote shot... best budget loadout ever

You could make a video about the best fishing spots in the bayou and I'd watch.
I just wish the filter you used for youtube was how the game naturally looked at night. Lights really pop out and look a lot more vivid. Fire being bright as all hell makes the burning buildings look incredible and really distinct from a distance.

So, before watching this video I just had a game where I threw a give bomb in water which made it just float there. Curiosity made me shoot it which if you hit the cap opens it up. I'd love a video at port breaker where you throw a few spaced out near the walkway with other hunters. Then consecutively shoot them open as the hunters run near them. Just want to see if it's fun and plausible. But I personally don't have the skill to pull it off

The Pax/Romero really does work wonders- i personally prefer the romero talon for a good melee option right then and there that you can have without switching weapons. It oneshots to the head and that melee feature has saved me a good couple times. I like running it on the Reptilian, both so i can use the Talon skin, and so I can camouflage myself better in the nature lol
Fantastic video man I've been enjoying the sparks and borhneim loadout as well as the crossbow and pax loadout. I do want to expand my loadouts a bit though so I'll try some of the ones you recommend here ^^ I would love to see some of the stealth loadouts you think are really good as well

Biggest piece of advice for saving money. Always, always and always recruit your free hunters. Take their items, dismiss them. Use free hunters as storage for items you keep getting. (I have plenty of hunter slots because I rushed getting 10 of them total, I wouldn’t recommend more because the slider looks very annoying)

@@PsychoghostGaming Well, i usually skulk on the edges of the map, and can kill pretty much anything alone. Also, just in case you read this, did you know you can Combat Axe heavy attack, and oneshot an immolator, WITHOUT, taking fire damage? If you are moving directly into the immolator, and is right up in it's face, the explosion doesn't hit you.(I assume this is because the explosion starts just outside of the immolator, meaning if you are close enough, you don't get hit)
That was my random Hunt fact.

Great stuff Mike! Thourghly enjoyed the video and as someone who prestiged to keep the game interesting I always struggle at the beginning on what to take with my limited options. Would very much like to see some other low budget videos when you get the time.
I think a lot of these loadouts are overlooked because you "get what you pay for" when it comes to your load out, but in the right hands they can be great. You have to just think about your load out and play to its advantage.
Loadout 1 isn’t even budget for me lol. I have like 25k rn and I still run a Romero with a Pax. The Romero is the only shotty I feel consistent enough with plus I like the range and unlike the Uppercut I can actually hit things with the Pax. Great video!

I've taken to using medium weapons lately, and the Springfield Compact with Romero Handcannon has gotten me a lot of kills in early ranks.
I think everyone hears the springfield, wants to push, but never expects the shotgun.
Springfield or Martini + silenced nagant is a favorite of mine, especially since it comes on white shirts fairly often for me.
If I can get it reliably from free hunter loadouts, that's budget to me.

That's the magic of high refresh rate monitors, watch again at 0.25x speed and you'll see that she showed up and her whole torso was visible when Mike took the shot.

If using the second load out in a trio, have the Sparks user go some place higher without windows and have your partners stealth flank a hunter on either side, then shoot between them...

My go-to budget loadouts right now : Springfield compact striker and Hand crossbow. 1 ammo in each weapon, but dude, they are reloaded so fast it is not a problem.
Also, classic crossbow + springfield is very ok but need quartermaster so, maybe not for a new player who have not unlocked it.

As for loadout number 5, I would say taking quartermaster and the Officer Carbine instead of the Nagant precision would be a step-up, although it would definitely change the loadout. Just something that went through my mind, please let me know your way more educated opinion on this. (I'm Prestige 0 Rank 57 so this is really just me fantasizing about what might be possible.)

The Romero 77 is possibly the spiciest gun for me, though consistent 180-220ms ping has made peeking other shotguns super risky lately. Sparks+nagant has been refreshing and a little safer.

I like to run the Springfield with a negant silencer combo. It's weak yeah but it's also really good for ranged stealth plays I think. It may not have as long a range as the Sparks but I find myself in mid range combat way more often then a sniper duel.
