@@PsychoghostGaming hey mike just wanted to say i recommend trying the smaa1tx instead of the 2tx because you will get a sharper image from it also try and combine it with nvidia sharpen it will make textures look better than they are and with zero hit to fps another reason i recommend using the 1tx is that there is alot less edge render artifacting and blur artifacting when zooming in and out of iron sight and if you just use the smaa1x you will get the sharpest image !

I was watching this on my 60 inch 4k TV in the living room and my wife was about to serve me some hot dogs... needless to say she was startled by the body shot and four hot dogs fell on my face in slow motion.
3:30 for new players watching , that's a immolator don't pierce his skin , so no shooting/stabbing/slashing or he will explode , use a weapon with blunt damage (any gun melee attack without a bayonett or claw attachment, or dusters )
Does the combat axe count more as blunt or bladed? I know it seems like an obvious answer but I swear I've seen a video where a guy killed one with an axe and it didn't detonate.
@@Notsuzpicious if you instakill it with a headshot with an axe, sometimes it wont detonate but its a really specific angle, wouldn't recommend trying it outside of practice lol

I'm just getting into Hunt and watching this tutorial series, but I absolutely loved the little stalemate while you and the other guy was down. I'm sure it's not a popular opinion but I'd like to see more of that kind of play.
Great video as always. I love your plays, and your partners: Unum, Joe and Nenoh. I have to admit the biggest laugh I got was at @35:50 with the guy yelling NO! NO! as he was charging you with the C&K. Fear of the PsychoGhost makes people do strange things :)
Ironically, when you were talking about yellow barrel traps, you were at a farm that has one at a gate with an oil slick that goes all the way across so it reaches from side to side. That same yellow barrel helped me escape a trio after running through it and turning to get a shot off at it. 😂 They are somewhat useful in closing off choke points where they are often strategically placed, but otherwise, you're right.
The whole time you and your teammate didn't notice the bounty was never picked up, even the icon on the top left of the screen never turned red. Fun fact is, I didn't notice it aswell, and had to rewatch the video to confirm it. PS. thanks for sharing it, long time player here that still appreciate something new to learn
This was masterful man. The combat mixed with the voice overs in grey in-between is like better then any tute ive seen on gaming. Ok I got the game haha, wish my luck and thankyou for all your efforts man.

Btw Mike you keep saying that with long rifle the fight is gonna be slow... but is actually the best part of the game, playing with a long rifle si really strategic and awesome to watch imho
Here is something pretty neat I found in one of my matches. While it may sound weird, if you are playing trios or even duos each of you should bring in a chaos bomb. Usually 2 would do, by throwing both of them around the same time, you can create a scene of a gun fight going on. I personally even got fooled when another team pull this in a trio match.
@@greensmall4086 Honestly, Im not depending on the entire chaos bomb duration. Some people are more willing to fight of there is already a fight outside. If I am trying to breach a hard compound being able to fool the people inside for 1-3 seconds are insanely valuable, especially if you are a shotgun user.
I'd rather have a long bar in the right and two small ones in the middle. I'd say around 50% of the time you're shot it's a rifle capable of dealing 125+ damage, so it doesn't make a difference if you're down a long or a short bar. Having a small bar on the right demands more healing from you, i've died lots of times because i decided to skip healing until i find a first aid box and died to a single rifle shot by surprise.
As always great content. How about some educational videos about compounds in the future? You could do one compound per video and show the best ways to engage or hold that compound. You know like what are all the entrances? Where you can access roofs or unexpected positions? Which windows do you have to watch when engaging? From which side should one engage... or not. Where can cash registers be placed. What loadout is preferable to have in this compound? I guess one could easily fill 10 minutes on each compound. And with the new "training"-mode in Hunt it allows you to show all these corners wihout having to fear beeing ambushed by players. I always notice while playing with my not so experienced friends that they run in the weirdest places and die, just because they didn't know that there was a ragged window in their backs or something like that. In these moments I always wish I could show the a well done video to prevent that in the future, but have not yet found videos on that topic that do it right.

After nearly 300 hours of Hunt. I can say with absolute certainty that after watching this video there will still be the bad matches -the crackshot campers - the shotgun sneakers and the rng headshotters followed up with instaburn cancer. But damn I love this game. And if your vid helps me be even 1% better than before then GG, keep it up! Ps: I attribute my first explosive barrel trap kill to you psycho - you evil evil man. XD
11:29 health bars. I personally believe in the 50[25>50>25] set up. Why? Because of first aid bandaging without Doctor heals 50. I want to sustain at least 125 health. So if I lose health to my foundation 50 bar, I can heal through the first 25 bar into a 50. Essentially turning a bandaged heal of 50 into a heal of 75 (regen required). This only applies if I'm knocked down to health of my lowest bar. Also I still have a small bar at the top so if I die once I only go down to 125. The one drawback is 2 deaths put you to 75 max health. If you are lucky to be revived twice, it is at this point that you need to assess your situation on how close you are to a banish vs whether you might need to extract. 50[25>25>25>25] is probably the most desirable in teams. It extends your revive/burn lives to 4. That is about as useful as it gives you. Bandaging without Doctor only heals 50 in all health points so there is not a benefit to skipping doctor, so pick it up with this one if you can. Also I'm gonna put 50[50>25>25] with this one as it really is just a weaker form of it and also probably the worst option of all the health combinations. 50[50>50] method is probably the best option in Solo play. Revives mean nothing to you, only burns. Having a big bar at the end is necessary to thwart burns for longer before you need to take care of them and thus maintaining 150 health. There is one interesting feature, however, and that is a weak vitality syringe can heal you from your 50 foundation through to your far right 50 bar which means you've essentially healed 100 health. This actually has quite a large meaning because it is actually a waste to bring a full vitality shot instead (in exception that you do have to wait a couple seconds for the regen... in which case you may be vulnerable to some spicy sparks one-taps). 50[25>25>50] method is probably the most interesting imho. Having the far right 50 bar is great to give yourself more time before burn takes it away. if you are dropped to the 75 health mark, you could turn a 50 heal bandage without doctor into 75 heal, essentially getting all 150 health back but it is a small sweet spot since your health has to land in the 25 bar. And like 3 big bars, this one can be healed from 50 foundation into far right 50 with a weak vitality syringe. Basically when choosing between full $65 or weak $10 vitality shots, do this: *If the far right is small, invest it all. If the far right is big, use the lighter rig.* To Recap: 50[25>50>25] Best All-Rounder. 50 to 125 with normal bandage benefit. 3 revives/burn lives. drawback is 2nd death/burn handicaps to 75. 50[25>25>25>25] Best for Teams. 4 revive/burn lives. drawback is no healing exploits. 50[50>25>25] Weaker form of 50[25>25>25>25]. 3 revive/burn lives. no added benefit. 50[50>50] Best for Solo. 50 to 150 weak syringe benefit. drawback is 2 revive/burn lives and one death/burn puts you to 100 health. 50[25>25>50] Niche use. 50 to 150 weak syringe benefit. 75 to 150 normal bandage benefit (small window). 3 revive/burn lives. drawback is one death/burn puts you to 100 health. Now remember... Doctor trait and Full Vitality shots changes all of this. What I actually do personally is if I don't have a "healing exploit" for my bandages, I choose Doctor. If I have my preferred 50[25>50>25] then I choose Frontiersman for an extra First Aid and then I try to get Packmule and Vulture as the replenishment for them. This actually snowballs into extra tools and twice the tool/consumable loots from toolboxes and players. Full Vitality shots will fill the void for the need of doctor, I only usually take one with me, though I probably recommend 2 as you can get your extra nades from toolboxes - you cannot get vitality shots from them... at least for now.
So obviously you are a really good player just in general. Though I'm curious how often do you have just really bad games? As I personally go from really high games to really low games quick. Like round a corner shoot a guy with Caldwell 76 at 9m guy turns and head shots me with a pax. Then other games it's like fish in a barrel. I'm curious if this happens to you?
question. if you pick up a gun that you already have you will get more ammo for it right? what if it is a completely different gun but of same amo type? like if i have mosin with 5 shots then i trade it for an uppercut and then trade back do i get extra ammo? also if someone else trades a mosin whit a mosin, can i then also do the same trade and also get ammo? or dose it only wok for 1 trade?

28:39 how does yelling 75 from your compass to Unum help you here? Because on Unum's compass, it's gonna be more like 105, 120. His 75 will be more north of Windy Run.
Correct me if i am wrong, but is the small bornheim better in this case because you can switch faster to small weapon then medium?(of course has b match better precision but i thinnk speed is preferable)
I'm calling BS on Unum's kill outside Sweetbell Flour. Pause at 16:58 and Re-watch the video. Look at when he shot (the muzzle flash and recoil) and where the derby wearing hunter is positioned. Unum should have missed him by easily 6-7 feet.

Me and a buddy cleared a server and the boss to die by 7 hellhounds. The learning curve to this game is massive. My load outs feel so limited at level 22.
Ouch. Regarding the loadouts, there are options like Springfield Compact - Rival Handcannon for example but that handicaps you in close to mid range due to only having that one bullet of ammo. As soon as you have unlocked quartermaster new variations will pop up. I can recommend unlocking the xbow if you enjoy a sneaky ambushy playstyle, i really enjoy it for playing solo and its insanely strong when you can keep calm and control ur trigger finger :)
I'm honestly glad to see an experienced player getting downed by dumb shit like I do. Rounding the courner into a camper with a Sparks. Yup, relatable. Course I'm also the kind of fool that charges a Mosin with my C&K like the end and blast away. xD Guess it's all part of the game.
It's a pretty good tactic against most people, specialy if you're going solo. But the loadout of these guys would have been way better for a prison fight.
Nice tips, though 2 guys in the end should have runned as soon as they heard you sporting long-rifle ammo. I would have.. Using anmy shotgun in open field effectively requires smart shifting around covers. Those guys werent doing it. So.. good victory. p.s. They should have hunkered down in prison

If you move into water and he will follow you and he will not explode or set you on fire, so in this case you can use slash melee

sometimes - the sound is random though, so this could just result in a mess
This has worked for me. But I never fall for the Avtomat sounds from some chaos bombs.

Having the far right 50 bar is great to give yourself more time before burn takes it away. if you are dropped to the 75 health mark, you could turn a 50 heal bandage without doctor into 75 heal, essentially getting all 150 health back but it is a small sweet spot since your health has to land in the 25 bar. And like 3 big bars, this one can be healed from 50 foundation into far right 50 with a weak vitality syringe. Basically when choosing between full $65 or weak $10 vitality shots, do this:
*If the far right is small, invest it all. If the far right is big, use the lighter rig.*
To Recap:
50[25>50>25] Best All-Rounder. 50 to 125 with normal bandage benefit. 3 revives/burn lives. drawback is 2nd death/burn handicaps to 75. 50[25>25>25>25] Best for Teams. 4 revive/burn lives. drawback is no healing exploits.
50[50>25>25] Weaker form of 50[25>25>25>25]. 3 revive/burn lives. no added benefit.
50[50>50] Best for Solo. 50 to 150 weak syringe benefit. drawback is 2 revive/burn lives and one death/burn puts you to 100 health.
50[25>25>50] Niche use. 50 to 150 weak syringe benefit. 75 to 150 normal bandage benefit (small window). 3 revive/burn lives. drawback is one death/burn puts you to 100 health.
Now remember... Doctor trait and Full Vitality shots changes all of this. What I actually do personally is if I don't have a "healing exploit" for my bandages, I choose Doctor. If I have my preferred 50[25>50>25] then I choose Frontiersman for an extra First Aid and then I try to get Packmule and Vulture as the replenishment for them. This actually snowballs into extra tools and twice the tool/consumable loots from toolboxes and players. Full Vitality shots will fill the void for the need of doctor, I only usually take one with me, though I probably recommend 2 as you can get your extra nades from toolboxes - you cannot get vitality shots from them... at least for now.

So obviously you are a really good player just in general. Though I'm curious how often do you have just really bad games? As I personally go from really high games to really low games quick. Like round a corner shoot a guy with Caldwell 76 at 9m guy turns and head shots me with a pax. Then other games it's like fish in a barrel. I'm curious if this happens to you?

question. if you pick up a gun that you already have you will get more ammo for it right? what if it is a completely different gun but of same amo type? like if i have mosin with 5 shots then i trade it for an uppercut and then trade back do i get extra ammo? also if someone else trades a mosin whit a mosin, can i then also do the same trade and also get ammo? or dose it only wok for 1 trade?

So what a gun has how much amo the hunter had left when he died? And you take as much as you need to fill your own guns and leave the rest?

So I don't know how you get a Hunter with more small health bars. Is it just based on Hunter's rank and can you purchase small health chunks for any recruited hunter?
You can take a health bar away and replace it for 2 small ones in the upgrade window I think. It costs blood bonds.
They are random, but you can respec the health bars in the lobby

28:39 how does yelling 75 from your compass to Unum help you here? Because on Unum's compass, it's gonna be more like 105, 120. His 75 will be more north of Windy Run.
Good teammates map callouts on their compass and Unum can definitely do that

Afaik you switch to all weapons at the same speed. Doesn't matter small or medium slot size
My problem with Hunt. 16:53 second shot was off by like 2 feet.
This is a spectator cam and they are not in sync with what the real player sees. So you have no problem at all as it seems

I'm calling BS on Unum's kill outside Sweetbell Flour. Pause at 16:58 and Re-watch the video. Look at when he shot (the muzzle flash and recoil) and where the derby wearing hunter is positioned. Unum should have missed him by easily 6-7 feet.

Me and a buddy cleared a server and the boss to die by 7 hellhounds. The learning curve to this game is massive. My load outs feel so limited at level 22.
Ouch. Regarding the loadouts, there are options like Springfield Compact - Rival Handcannon for example but that handicaps you in close to mid range due to only having that one bullet of ammo.
As soon as you have unlocked quartermaster new variations will pop up.
I can recommend unlocking the xbow if you enjoy a sneaky ambushy playstyle, i really enjoy it for playing solo and its insanely strong when you can keep calm and control ur trigger finger :)
I had the same solo, thought it where just 2 but the sixpack came and i cursed out loud at 3am loool sorry neighbors
You will level up quickly though if you're somebody who clears servers :D Just keep it up :D

It's a pretty good tactic against most people, specialy if you're going solo. But the loadout of these guys would have been way better for a prison fight.
