My suggestion is to let them just walk into you... ive gotten so many kills by going quiet and waiting for someone to round a corner, then blasting them with my lemat shotgun XD

Your idea with the petfood at 21.28 is great. I had a similar idea, but not for the cage animals. I was thinking about a bag full of bread crumbs, with which you can attract ducks and crows after a short time. It should have several charges, like the decoybag and you could use it to place audiotraps at strategic points yourself. Perhaps both ideas can be combined like: "throw it inside the cages to silence the animals ; throw it anywhere else to attract crows/ducks after a short time". Or do you think that would be to strong?
Change it to a generic “bait”. Thrown in cages, it shuts them up. If thrown in the world, it will attract hellhounds nearby. If no hounds get it within 30 seconds or so, crows come down as you suggested. Gives it lots of versatility as a tool.
I haven't played Hunt lately but the Vetterli Bayonet was always my favorite go to gun on a budget. Have never paired it with the Specter compact though thats a cool loadout.
I cant wait to give the mini-wini a go. Cause honestly, my favorite weapon in Hunt is the Romero Hatchet. Looks badass, cost-efficient, and damn deadly at close range. Usually I take some kind of dead-eye variant as a secondary when able, but with the mini-wini I'll be able to have a medium range and close range all in one package, it'll be amazing.

Silenced sparks + LeMat with fanning is one of my favorite loadout lately Silenced Sparks is like one of the best gun: 149 damage long ammo with no sound, only downside is the bullet travel time LeMat with fanning is pretty accurate and reliable at short to medium range and pretty good rate of fire since its buff in 1.4.4 + it got 3 shotgun (thou we don't use it that much)
It would be great to see a tutorial on stealth in the game. How to get through the map quietly, and how I can find the perfect one-tap kill initiation from stealth.

Mike, I think you'd enjoy one of my favorite loadouts : Martini Marksman with Winfield Vandal Striker. And with levering, of course, or it's just not annoying enough for the enemies 😁 you can replace the Martini by a Sparks sniper, and the Striker by a regular Vandal. You can play at all ranges with that. What do you think of that?
The budget build for this is another quartermaster build: Specter + Springfield Compact Striker at a whopping $244... that beats out the $319 of the Vetterli Bayonet + Specter Compact, saving you $75 in total.
It would be cool to see a bow and arrow. Also a perk to help you shoot faster. A normal sized bow, a short bow, and maybe a longbow? Maybe have the normal bodkin or broadhead arrow tip, explosive tip and perhaps shotbolt too. The damage could be 60-75. Maximum range varies on the variant.
Back to the future: now (10 months later) you will find a medium slot bow. Paired with vetterli bayonet and poison/regular arrows this is my favorite loadout, perhaps not as agressive as with the specter but instead you gain in the stealth department, the bow also extends the one shot range of the mini shotgun quite a bit.
I started using the vetterli this prestige and I gotta say I really like it. It’s become the weapon I use until I unlock the lebel. I use the LeMat though, as I usually find success with its shotgun in rush scenarios
Fuck that double up on the melee weapons, take a Karabiner Bayonet AND a Romero Hatchet! AND A HEAVY KNIFE UNLIMITED POWER! (until you fight an immolator)
Quite curious why exactly you prefer the specter compact over a caldwell handcannon. Would seem like a much better choice for thoose quick opportunity pushes since it offers a faster and higher burst of damage(obviously a specter in the face is just as deadly). Of course the specter offers more bullets, which certainly helped you against the crossbow in prison Guess i´ve gotta give the specter compact a shot with this build and strategy
În fact...u have a trait for shotgun,where u remain in Iron sights after shots. I believe it's called "Iron Devastator". For the spectre is good,but for C&C I think u stay in iron sights even without the trait.
Right now, it is 99% useless. The only benefit is the fact that you have a different sensitivity while ads - that MIGHT help some people. Maybe with some SLUG ammo it will be different :)

A more expensive but better version of this load out, in my opinion, is Spector Bayonet and Mosin Obrez Mace. A few a trade offs like a slower fire rate for better range and long ammo with the Mosin, but If you like this load out might want to try it out. One thing I really like is if I take the mace I dont take a melee cuz I find it does the job well enough, so extra tool slot.
My main loadout is: Vetterli Deadeye + Caldwell Chain knife + flare + choke + medkit fire + dynamite/frag + antidote + vit shot It is cheap, versatile and easy to play :)
Wow that first Specter kill was super lucky with the spread though. The one at 15:31 however was super unlucky, to me he was in the same range as the first kill. That's probably why so many dislike this gun, it feels unreliable.

Can someone explain to me why he brings dusters if he has a bayonet? I think it’s because maybe one is better clearing some zombies than the other but I’m new to the game and don’t know for sure.
Hi, yes first of all, the dusters consume *way* less stamina, so you can clear more grunts with it. Also as 2nd very importnt reason, you need them to kill immolaters. If you shot them, or attack them with a knive/bayonet/talon they will explode and deal instantly 25 burning damage (taking away a smal health bar eventually permanent for this game) and set you on fire when they come to close. Also they might set barols on fire. I hit an immolater with the romero talon next to a red barrel in one of my first games.. well lucky we were doing trios, as i blasted one partner and myself up with that :D i hope that explains it (:
Don’t use anything that penetrates an immolator’s skin up close unless you like being set on fire. The exception being something that does so much damage in a single headshot that it kills the immolator (headshot with combat axe, bomb lance, or nitro express). It will explode without actually burning anything.
You may not see this, but once again I had 2 good games. It's only when you upload I do well. I hit a sparks headshot(I usualy dont) and killed 2 guys with fanning. The next game i was able to hit 2 shots with my sparks again. So when you upload, you somehow make me aim better 😋. Keep the uploads comming!
Hey man, I'd appreciate a lot if you did a video on what weapons are best for begginners and some tips on how to improve your aim, I'm struggling at that... As soon as I get my twitch prime back I'm subscribing to your twitch channel, you deserve support.
I am by no means great at this game, but understanding the bullet physics helps a lot. If you haven't already, check out Mike's 100 tips video and his 50 tips video. Helped me a ton and I had already put over a hundred or so hours into the game when I saw them. As far as aim goes, when you pull the trigger, the game creates an object that then travels at a certain speed (the muzzle velocity stat on the gun I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong). So if the thing you're shooting is moving to the right, you'll have to aim in front of them so they "run into" the bullet. I just recently got the hang of this mechanic and my aim has improved substantially. The two things that helped the most with me were Kovaak 2.0 Aim Trainer and the sniper trials in Hunt itself. If you match the sensitivity using Kovaak's sensitivity transfer tool (search for videos on how to use it), you'll get closer to Hunt's sensitivity while training with Kovaak's. The Hunt sniper trails REALLY helped me with aiming in front of the target. I'll typically fire up Kovaak's for a few minutes to warm up before playing Hunt with friends. Sorry if you knew all of this already, just figured maybe some tidbit in here might help you. Good hunting!

There are some budget loadout videos on my channel. Regarding the aim - that is tough. Learn the different velocities of the guns and then practice with a friend (aka shooting him at certain distances lol)
I really hate the fact they lock us in ADS FOV. It really sucks for people with low mouse sens in ADS. When we fire we can't turn and run, we can only run forward until the arbitrary fov lock finishes. And this is even if you change weapons.
Hey I'm new to this game and I would appreciate if someone can explain something to me: In the video he says I take dusters instead of knife because I have a bayonet already. Why would he need a melee weapon if he already has the bayonet though?

@@l4dfanatic11 I ran up on some poor bastard in the prison yesterday and gave him both barrels from my dual lemat shotguns. It was very satisfying.
Its literally hit and miss haha. Just like the spectre tho, spam it and keep moving I find works best but haven't had a lot of experience
I've really come to like the Vetterli lately. What a great versatile weapon.
Kinda leaves the Springfield in the dust sadly as it’s dmg and range is so close as to make it irrelevant.
Personal preference I guess. I still use the springfield frequently.

Hm. I do explain a lot during the streams. Throwing knife, silenced nagant, knowing the spawns for audio traps (crows, horses, etc.) helps a lot :)

I've started going Vetterli or Winfield + Saber or Machete. Doesn't work every time, but the adrenaline rush of a successful melee kill is worth it.

That is definitely solid and playable. The only reason why I don't like it is because the vandal levering bloom is ... it betrayed me too often :D

Great way to balance the bow wouldbe to give it nosights and no hipfire but still ohk bodyshots. Like you gotta feel where the arrow will go
Try using the sparks with Vandal or Vandal dead eye if you want some spice

Antidote shot is now back to useless in my opinion. I used it for the less damage. Now it sucks.

What FOV you all running? Mine was set at 90 but now trying max (110) and seems better. I heard it helps reduce motion sickness too

Can someone explain to me why he brings dusters if he has a bayonet? I think it’s because maybe one is better clearing some zombies than the other but I’m new to the game and don’t know for sure.
Hi, yes first of all, the dusters consume *way* less stamina, so you can clear more grunts with it. Also as 2nd very importnt reason, you need them to kill immolaters. If you shot them, or attack them with a knive/bayonet/talon they will explode and deal instantly 25 burning damage (taking away a smal health bar eventually permanent for this game) and set you on fire when they come to close. Also they might set barols on fire. I hit an immolater with the romero talon next to a red barrel in one of my first games.. well lucky we were doing trios, as i blasted one partner and myself up with that :D i hope that explains it (:
Don’t use anything that penetrates an immolator’s skin up close unless you like being set on fire.
The exception being something that does so much damage in a single headshot that it kills the immolator (headshot with combat axe, bomb lance, or nitro express). It will explode without actually burning anything.

Stamina consumption is HIGH on the bayonet and stabbing immolators is ... not recommended :D
You may not see this, but once again I had 2 good games. It's only when you upload I do well. I hit a sparks headshot(I usualy dont) and killed 2 guys with fanning. The next game i was able to hit 2 shots with my sparks again. So when you upload, you somehow make me aim better 😋. Keep the uploads comming!

Hey man, I'd appreciate a lot if you did a video on what weapons are best for begginners and some tips on how to improve your aim, I'm struggling at that... As soon as I get my twitch prime back I'm subscribing to your twitch channel, you deserve support.
I am by no means great at this game, but understanding the bullet physics helps a lot. If you haven't already, check out Mike's 100 tips video and his 50 tips video. Helped me a ton and I had already put over a hundred or so hours into the game when I saw them.
As far as aim goes, when you pull the trigger, the game creates an object that then travels at a certain speed (the muzzle velocity stat on the gun I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong). So if the thing you're shooting is moving to the right, you'll have to aim in front of them so they "run into" the bullet. I just recently got the hang of this mechanic and my aim has improved substantially.
The two things that helped the most with me were Kovaak 2.0 Aim Trainer and the sniper trials in Hunt itself. If you match the sensitivity using Kovaak's sensitivity transfer tool (search for videos on how to use it), you'll get closer to Hunt's sensitivity while training with Kovaak's. The Hunt sniper trails REALLY helped me with aiming in front of the target.
I'll typically fire up Kovaak's for a few minutes to warm up before playing Hunt with friends.

@@hoptimas5415 thank you for all the information, I did see the videos of 100 and 50 tips, but could use a reminder. I didn't know about the aiming tool, and I'll try out the sniper trials, I initially thought it would be a waste of time.
There are some budget loadout videos on my channel. Regarding the aim - that is tough. Learn the different velocities of the guns and then practice with a friend (aka shooting him at certain distances lol)
I really hate the fact they lock us in ADS FOV. It really sucks for people with low mouse sens in ADS. When we fire we can't turn and run, we can only run forward until the arbitrary fov lock finishes. And this is even if you change weapons.
Maybe they'll change it :)

Hey I'm new to this game and I would appreciate if someone can explain something to me:
In the video he says I take dusters instead of knife because I have a bayonet already.
Why would he need a melee weapon if he already has the bayonet though?
1) Bayonet vs Immolators is not THAT great :D
2) Stamina consumption is WAY higher so killing lots of small AI is better with dusters.
