- STAY OUT & STAY ALIVE! I NO LONGER ACTIVELY EXPLORE ABANDONED ANTHRACITE COAL MINES. I HAVE NEARLY 2 DECADES OF EXPERIENCE AND AM TRAINED, HAVE OXYGEN, FLAME SAFETY LAMPS, MAPS, MEDICAL TRAINING FROM THE MILITARY, ETC. YOU CAN EASILY GET HURT OR KILLED IN OLD MINES! Black damp can kill you in mere moments and it is something you cannot smell or see, without training and proper equipment, you will succumb to this. No locations will be given or discussed anywhere on my channel; I will delete them if comments as such arise.
This was a wild video. Unexplainable. After a long day of being shoved, hearing all types of weird stuff, etc. I decided to film at the bottom of an internal airshaft/manway how airflow looks from the water vapor in the atmosphere of the mine. All of a sudden, we heard rock to our right move around, like someone walking, moments later this light anomaly appears. It is not a bug, we are so far in and there is only one way in or out which is nearly a mile away, not to mention we are at the 2nd level of the mine with about 285 feet of rock overhead. If it was a bug, it wouldn't have been able to fight that air current most likely. I saw it with my bare eyes too, was a fleeting moment of blue/purple neon light. Just bizarre. You can hear me ask if that was my friend making the noise just before this thing appears to. Prior in the day I was getting shoved violently and we have heard all types of weird noises in this mine. We are not ghost hunters. Out of probably nearly 100 mines, only 2 or 3 are energy charged and terrify me horribly. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU PERSONALLY THINK!

Yeah, don't let it fool you though, that one has deadly black damp about a third of a mile, half mile at most, from this spot. I mean super deadly black damp. That's why you need Koehler Safety Flame Lamps.

@@AnthraciteHorrorStories I shall look into those lamps. It's crazy how far some of these mines go. Some are just straight tunnels and others are absolute labyrinths. There's good spots air wise at some places and other spots that can kill you in mere minutes. It's insane how dangerous it was and in some places still is for miners.
looks like a bug to me, i worked in the mines 15 years and never saw any ghosts!!!!!!!!!!!
Was not a bug, only one way out which is at least 3/4 of a mile away, we were on the 2nd level and we are at the base of an air shaft. The air is upcasting at a very fast rate. That would mean that the bug would have to fly parallel to the wind going up and then back down against the strong air current. I saw a blue purple light which is in the video. Right before we heard rocks being disturbed. Please see description. Thank you.
