And she's got a great smile. Shame that none of the pictures show that. Whenever the camera goes for the shot, she immediately goes stone cold in the face.
Taylor, I’m a long time photographer (since early 70’s and I try and stay away from weddings. I know that it takes practice and one needs to keep up with latest poses etc. I did a few weddings this month (Family) and they turned out great. I credit a lot to your videos and your presets!!!!
Head over to your local Spanish grocer with a camera and model and shoot inside their establishment before deciding to buy! You didn't hear this tip from me though 😂✌
Hey Taylor. Great video. You always inspire me and today you have inspired me to grab anything around me and put it in front of the lens. Love it 😀 love Miguel's image at 6:05. Those leading line lights. Awesome. Some fantastic tips in there. Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Hi! I am first time on your channel. I am just beginner, and your videos gives a lot of power and inspiration! I think I an gonna see all the videos in one night! :) Hope, you staying healthy! Greetings from Poland! :)
For the first 4 minutes of the video, you were using 1/1250 for Shutter Speed, however when you asked the model to walk around 4:42, you lowered the shutter speed to 1/320. Is this because the space was too dark for the original Shutter Speed? I was assuming you would use a higher one, or maintain the same for a moving subject.
Can you describe how you meter your shots? For these natural light portraits I spot meter on the brightest part of the face, then add 1 stop for white complexion, and 1/2 stop for latino and go with standard exposre for black skin. Thoughts?
Hi with the sony a7riii camera do you find the back of the screen too small too view photos as there is a lot info on the back screen that doesn't my opinion need to be there every time you try to view a photo, would be good if that information was not there at all, or can you change that?
I like how when you dropped somebody else's quote "if your portraits are not good it's because you are not close enough to your subject" you knew you had quoted someone else and thought about saying who's quote it was and then you could see in your face 'naaaah, they can believe that's all me baby...' 😂🤭
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto Well dang, and here I am scraping by still! haha, I still took notes. Thanks for the semi-awkward video. If you have one on building rapport and finding clients early on that would be great!
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto I have watched your work for awhile. Stay blessed and have a great week. I still on the lookout for a great condition used Nikon D750 and hopefully get the Nikon Z5 and Nikon D780 somewhere down the line. But I must admit I am interested in seeing what Nikon does with the future Nikon Z5 Mark 2
Best beginner camera is the d700 with a 50mm 1.8, it's full frame, it doesn't have a lot of stuff but it takes amazing pictures follow me @portraphotography on Instagram so I can show you some examples of my work with the d700.
It’s good as a travel camera and would for sure make a good backup. My struggle is just that it won’t record full HD videos if I have a crop lens on it haha
Did anybody else get a call from the DEA after Googling, "where can I buy Mexican Coke"
Hah, my mom buy it all the time at walmart in new jersey

Ha ha ha! Thank God I'm In Mexico... by the way, we called: Coke, without the adjective "mexican"
hahahahaha
@@jorgeeduardo.pineda it's actually a compliment to call it Mexican coke because American coke sucks :)
Most important tip: find a beautiful model to shoot with, you guys nailed that requirement here😉
Man the simplest tips can change the entire story of a photo. I love it.
The model is gorgeous!!!! WOW

Last time I asked for Mexican coke I got 7 years. Seems mine came in white powder form?? Next time I'll try to find the bottle kind.
It's soothing seeing some of my favorite TH-cam doing collabs, honestly
Is your favourite youtuber Mexican Coke?
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto hmmmm
Is there anywhere I can rent a Mexican Coke bottle before investing?

I'd suspect Adorama will now be carrying them in rentals with the heightened demand from this video
Taylor Jackson maybe I can find a used Mexican coke on eBay for a little cheaper 😂😂
Two great photographer and model. Love the video.
Love the photos against the pink(?) curtains. The colours are really vibrant
Very helpful tips. The Coke (Mexican of course), the leaf, and the plant pjoyls all looked DOPE. PEACE from ATL ✊🏾📸

Loved the video ! really nice shots
Every time they say Mexican coke, take a shot. 🍻
Challenge accepted.
is there a reason you shoot at ISO200(and not 100/64 or whatever is the lowest on that camera) when your shutter speed is over 1000?
Portrait tips number one : BEAUTIFUL MODEL
This is true. It definitely helps and makes everything easier to some degree. But not just a beautiful face, someone who knows how to slay poses.
