  • Hi everyone. We left the coast at Yeppoon (so long ocean - we will miss you!) and head west. We explore Blackdown Tablelands National Park and find some absolute gems of nature; we make our way over to Carnarvon Gorge - its everything they say and more! We stretched our legs on the tracks and meet a friendly local in his private pool... It's over way too soon but more fun adventures are just around the corner when we arrive at the gem fields.
    Hope you love it.

    Hi Jackie,
The Google algorithm led me to your site (thankfully)
I enjoyed every minute of this. This note is an encouragement/plea to continue as-is.
The slow pace is great and the videography, voice-over. music blend and the drone slots are 1st class. (and your video/sound rendering is perfect)
The lack of meal preparations, rig walk through's and equipment reviews is entirely refreshing.
Keep doing what you do now - it is unique. I'm Subscribed!
Kerry will eventually blend in (I think he is >50% there already)

Its so good to re visit good memories isnt it! Glad we have sparked some for you. And yes, I love the Mavic Air 2 - its particularly good in the wind - which is extremely helpful anywhere on the west coast! 👍

Thoroughly enjoyed this episode especially Rolleston. I was there back in the early 80's trapping pigs for export and the town has really changed, I notice there is sealed road also, nothing but dirt and corrugation back then.

Love your channel. How long did it take you to walk the 18km track at Carnarvon Gorge? Did it take you long to master you drone and is it the dji mavic mini 2? Thanks for sharing your adventures and safe travels.

Thx for your encouragement. Kerry and I are slow walkers as we like to stop often, take it in & try to capture some on vid or photos. We started our walk at approx 8am and back by 4:30 pm. Most people allow 6 to 7 hrs. My drone is DJI Mavic Air 2. Great drone! 34 mins flying time per battery. I am a novice but the drone also has a number of automated features to get beginners flying straight away. Many DJI drones do. I have started to feel more comfortable flying after about a year ( slow learner😊) Practice away from obstacles 😃👍
