Hello Jessica! If you have dandruff on your eyebrows, try applying Nizoral dandruff shampoo to them a couple of times a week and leave it on for a few minutes. I picked up this tip from a dermatologist blogger, and I’m really happy with the results.
Thank you! This is the best video I’ve ever found for suggestions on good, affordable, cool toned makeup options! My skin is slightly darker and very slightly less cool toned than you with very dark hair. I have such a hard time with everything pulling very warm on me and it drives me crazy!!
Givenchy Powder was my holy grail for 2 years. Blanc Divin Powder from Givenhy still contains Talc. It is the old formula and still available on their website. Currently sold out, but I think they might restock it. Guerlain came out with a powder that I like even better than the Givenchy, the Parure Gold Skin Diamond Micro-Perfection Loose Powder. It works like mattifying magic on my oily skin. Blurs fine lines and pores, even great for under eye setting. It is not enhancing any wrinkles. Evens out my skintone. It comes in a very light rosy cool shade. You might like it. It is scented and smells soooo good.... Guerlain is the greatest perfume house of europe with a tradition, so the scent is like I imagine angels to smell like.
I ❤️ CoverGirl Cheekers' plum shades -- they have three, I think. The NYX HD powder in yellow goes on transparent, with the same finish as the white but without the almost icy look. Most translucent powders have too much color for me, but the HD yellow works beautifully. I'm going to try that ColourPop pencil. It looks like the color I've been looking for!
Yes that colourpop pencil is just perfect! So I have the Nyx HD powder in Banana...is that the one you mean? It shows a bit yellow on me unfortunately but I am SO pale 😂 I wish they had a super light pink one but that's a newer trend and this is definitely an older product.
That banana works for me. Most of them turn me yellow! I used to use plain baby powder when it was talc, because all three cosmetic powders changed the makeup colors under them. I think the silicone in the white HD just makes it too intense for pale faces.
Dear Jessica, Question: Am I supposed to match my blush and lipstick to my eyeshadow look or do I just wear my favorite blush and lipstick? If I am doing a full Glam Eye Look do I wear a neutral blush and lipstick? What eye look does a Red Lip work best with? Perhaps I am overthinking! Thank you. Sent with tons of love.
I usually like to sort of match my blush and eyeshadow and lipstick but not exact same shades, more like all 'cool' or 'warm' and complimentary colors like you would find on wall paint swatches at a store. As to the full glam eye look, the general rule of thumb is that if you go super dark on the eyes, go lighter on the lips but I think you really can go either way and don't subscribe to that rule myself at all. I do think if you go too dramatic on both, you may look a little drag queeny which is a look but not one I'm usually going for.😅 For Red lip looks my fave pairing is a neutral or cool toned eye that is very dark on the edges and lash line and very sparkly or light in the center. I love a deep blue or dark browns/black/gray with red lips. Hope that helps! There really aren't any hard and fast rules in my opinion but these are the things I think look the best personally!
Excited to see your choices! Drugstore does it do well these days!

I hear ya! That's why I like to share anything I do find that works for us!
You should try the Moira pink loose setting powder. I love it!
Thanks! How dark pink is it? I can only get away with the lightest pink powders otherwise they literally look like blush on me 🤣
You’re the best for this video!
I'm so glad you liked it! 😊
