  • Generations of Sydneysiders owe their thanks to the 2000 workers who worked round-the-clock shifts to build Warragamba Dam between 1948 and 1960. This is their story told by the men and women who lived and worked at Warragamba.

    Grew up at warragamba,, my dad worked at the dam, Jim Drennan was his name. Great memories.

    my uncle Alan Weir worked on the dam i came up from Melbourne to see the construction with my dad i have some greatearly pictures

    Fantastic achievment but when is Sydney Water going to clean up the arsenic pouring down the Tonalli River into Burragorang?

    Instead of spilling the dam why don't they make it compulsory for houses to fill tanks with water storage

    If they look at the map of the state they could run pipes off the back send water out west when floods easy as pipes above ground on stools so no nature gets destroyed give people jobs and help out west with water
