Don't worry I thought the same thing too. You will probably to get a new 23 for dirt cheap as they are hardly selling and theres a million of them. I just got a left over 22 Charger Daytona for $41K was originally going for 49
@@Disciple_of_God. Just because a car can go 150 doesn’t mean it’s fast lol. Scat Pack and Hellcat are the ones that will accelerate significantly faster. The RT would probably take a very long time to actually hit top speed. If your used to cars that do 0-60 sub 4 seconds. The RT won’t feel that fast being only 5.4 seconds to 60. Top speed doesn’t mean much. Acceleration is where you feel the sensation of fast.
The RT is the way to go.5.7 has been around long enough to get rid of any problems. Unless your going to beat on the car and race, don't need anything else. Will beat most cars on road and easier to controll. Can still have fun , and remember most cars in 80 and 90s didn't have 375 hp and 410 torque. Now is the time to get one, be a last call member.Just drive one, they sell them selves.
Respectfully 5.5 seconds is a little conservative of a time. I've done 5.2 on a 90 degree southwest spring day, many have achieved high 4's in the right conditions. I've run 5.2 in my Charger as well.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Like my name/title states I have both a 22 Challenger and a 22 Charger. I haven't played with the 0-60 timer much on both, but my best in both is 5.2. It was easier to achieve that in the Charger. Just loud bark of the tires and let it go. No manual shifting, Sport Mode but turned the traction control back on. The Challenger wanted to fishtail a lot, that was 3/4 down and immediate to the floor to get the 5.2. Didn't need to play with the throttle on the Charger. The Charger is about 200 pounds heavier and has a 2.62 axle gear as opposed to the Challengers 3.08. However neither get driven a ton, current mileage on my Challenger is 1009, and 2253 on the Charger. A little more break in and the times should fall a 1/10-2/10.
$51,000? Wow that's a chuck of cash. I bought a 2016 Challenger Scat Pack with 1,200 miles on the odometer fir $41,000 seven years ago. It was also fully loaded.
I bought a brand new 2020 scat pack shaker for $37,500 at the end of 2020…how times have changed…dodge wonders why 7/10 of the highest inventory cars in America are Dodges….
I own a 2023 RT plus im loving it so far but after a few months i do kinda want that push back in the seat feel so hopefully i can tune this thing up a bit any suggestions on how i should start
You really won't be able to add much power to an N/A motor. Adding a supercharger will give you noticeable power. But for the same money you can probably sell yours and buy a Scat Pack. That's a pretty powerful car and you won't get bored of that one
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I own a RT and my best 0-60 is 4.8 on stock everything including the all-season tires. They are that quick you just need a good launch. They are even a tad bit quicker on a drag strip.
@@TridentRushed Yeah traction is everything. Most of the time when I drive any V8 Challenger they just spin all the time. I’ve never been able to put my foot to the floor with out them spinning
The starters on these Mopar V8s, mostly the 5.7s have such a distinctive sound that I think kind of sounds like a whale (lol)..but are also loud and mean sounding which makes me love these engines even more.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I just seen you were in Midland in this video. I came across some brand new 2023 Challenger RT’s in the Detroit area for $33,000. I’m in the market for a V8, rear wheel drive, manual transmission car.
This car was nice when it debuted 15 years ago and the refresh was even nicer in 2015 but dodge never really did anything after that to update it however, it sold well so I can understand why they didn’t do it. It’s a shame they’ve come to an end now, but at the end of the day they’re very outdated cars. A modern new version of it would’ve been great like ford did with the mustang.
The rear tail lights are made of cheap plastic. I've seen kids toys made of better plastics. This is cost cutting on Chryslers part. The expensive Hellcats use the same cheap olastic tail light section. If you're spending $80,000 for a Hellcat give people their money's worth.
I only wished they would’ve updated the interior for all the last car models
Yeah they should have done that a long time ago
You say that Again Big Dawg!!!!!
I agree, the interior has been outdated for a long time and at 51k, it's overpriced.
Now they’re down to 35k which is insane but it legit was the same inteiorfor 8years

Awesome! Congrats!

An R/T at full throttle will definitely push you back in your seat!
