Eina! Sad to see that the lawns that covered the camping sites "way back" have completely disappeared!

Yes most of the camping grounds are rather dusty. A good ground sheet is highly recommended.

Thanks for the video. You said that when you book, you should ask for site next to the fence. Is Letaba different to other camps in that they specify which site you get? I know the rest of the camps are first come first serve. Thanks

first come, first serve also applies at Letaba

I thought Letaba might differentiate between fence facing site and the others when booking. Turns out they do not so you can book and sites are first come, first serve basis

Sanparks should really start numbering the sites, and allow us to book a specific site, rather than the way it is done at the moment.
