For a civi, I'm pleased with my previous gen G24. Haven't had the need to extended it even with goggles or a gas mask. But I definitely get the use case for the redesign, although I wouldn't want the extension.
It would be awesome to finally get my pvs-14 to use on that mount..... at this point, I think I might actually get my dual tube set before my 14 arrives lol
@@Treasuremonk likewise, from what I’m hearing if anyone gives you an ETA, it’s more than likely a lie. Hoping to have mine by at least July for a nv course I’m taking. If not, I’ll have to rent one. I did opt to get a chinesium one to train with at home with UTM’s after a shit load of loctite it’s holding up, but I definitely won’t use for anything else. Good luck brother, hope you get your mount soon.
One good accidental drop & the G24 mounted to a ballistic bucket could very well be done for. Ten good drops & the Norotos INVG or AKA2 is just getting broker in ;) If you're in a SOCOM unit its replaced, if you're a civilian its out of your pocket, keep that in mind just to play the (Night Vision) Devil's Advocate...

My favorite part of having NV is taking my dog in the basement, killing the lights and throwing his toy and watching him try to find it.
If you're gonna go, go big!
Splendid overview. Gone are the days of trying to source parts or, God forbid, two separate mounts to try and get the features of both the 24 and 22.
I love it, I wear glasses and OTG goggles and it gives me that extra I needed to adjust it to a comfortable point

Good to know. I had been looking for a G22E for a while.
I have noticed that the G24 when used with the new Fast SF with modular shroud seems to wobble more than it did on the older skeleton shroud
Definitely! Annoys me like hell
Just put some electrical tape on the bottom of the mount and continue to do so until the mount is shimmed fit
Hey Augee, I just purchased the previous generation model only a month. If I knew they were introducing a updated version I would have waited
Are those the dazzle lenses on the step in visor?
wish they'd redesign the fuckin MSRP.
Apollo Gear has a pretty good price on them, plus they're getting a shipment in a week or two.

Did your Pvs ever arrive?
What tube type, and what specs?
Love your shirt. 🐕🐊
What is the L4 G24 (or the (24 “lite”)?
NVG's & glasses.... Have you done a video on this? I hate it!
I need that patch
I haven't found your videos particularly useful that don't have close-ups
Need one 😄
Why are they out of stock all the time? And SO high in price? What is another option for same?
@@FightForFreedom1776 have money for one, not trusting my high dollar thermal to Chinese junk
@@Treasuremonk then buy the real Wilcox mount, you’re not gonna find better or be able to spend less and get equal performance.
@@FightForFreedom1776 I agree, I have one ordered , but they are on back order with every company. Thanks !

you'd think with all the tax dollars they've gotten they'd offer a civilian discount :)
Now we can tell wich ones are clones easier for awhile until the Chinese catch up
Facts lol. Most still cannot get the Wilcox X right at least.

break away is cool until it breaks away and breaks the bridge of your nose while filleting u open. no thanks.ill stick with the g22e
Just flip the tab, stupid.
