May Allah bless you. We had 2 high school students and one of the parents that reverted during Ramadan. The one whose parent didn’t convert told his family and was kicked out. He ended up being taken in with the other family before his parents came to their senses but sometimes it’s best to keep the faith concealed until they can be independent

The idea about the document with misconceptions and stereotypes is very good, could be valuable also enriched and could help other people ,
"The version of you that they have loved and known is gone" but , thanks to Allah/God, your are in a best (augmented) version now..
In my opinion Definitly, converts/reverts could be a blessing for their family, and old friends with some patience perseverance...
