While a long overdue update is def. good news, I feel like the minds of these 2 would explode if they try out the trains in Asia + the EU. But per usual, baby steps toward progress ... 😩
So glad to see these new cars. Most importantly, these cars unlike the problematic Red Line cars are not being produced by the CCP’s state owned upstart CRRC but by a century old European based manufacturer.
Glad to see the new longer trains coming. The green line can get so crowded! Level boarding awesome for wheelchair users and great for speeding up boarding, too.
Good news. The Boston and the MBTA are working on a redesign of Huntington with dedicated transitway. So we'll get elevated platforms. Plan is to have it done in 2027 to allow new type 10 trains to run on the E branch. Final design due this fall. Looks like it will also be much safer, since you won't have to step off trolley and into traffic. The 39 and 66 busses will be able to use the transitway, too.
Am I delusional or does it seem too cramped like too narrow🙄🤷🏽♀️NOT enough space for a packed train, And those pay boxes off to the side do they REALLY THINK ANYONE will use a card to tap it😂😂🙄🙄🙄I DONT THINK SO if three people or more all get on at once it’ll be so easy to just walk in and sit down and what is the purpose of these new pay boxes anyway will they get rid of the real big walk through pay gates I DONT THINK SO 🤷🏽♀️🙄🙄So what is the point of these smaller boxes inside the car I don’t get it Also if they make a new green line they should make it for the red and orange line as well🙄🙄Since the Subways are CONSTANTLY BREAKING DOWN🤬🤬🙄🙄🙄 And and I bet anyone a million bucks one these new trains come out within 10 years they will start shitting the bed🙄🙄🤦🏽♀️
That dude must have a solid 3 ft of shoulder spread.
Nice trains.

I'm tryin' to picture that takin' that sharp curve before/after Boylston!
Don't jinx, we just had a derailed train in Cambridge. 😅

uh huh...but will it still take an hour to get from BC to Park Street?
Weird... This is totally different audio than the interview I saw this morning on WBZ. I put that one up on my channel. 🍀
That's amazing 👏!
Can’t wait till Miles in Transit rides one of these
More people standing than sitting..
So "riders" (hopefully "paying" riders), CAN be PACKED IN like sardines in a can .... $$$$$$ Good the "T" bad for the riders .... 🤔
Name a single metro that doesn't do that.
Have you been on a green line train? This actually looks like more seats than the current ones....
😆

How is the going to work on street level E Line on S Huntington?? Elevated platforms?

@ That would require the removal of street parking and somehow accommodate for bikes. Should be interesting
Nice
Honestly the is just ok not even 10 yards away from the former thats in twrms of design but feature wise its fantastic. 7 cars instead of 3
I hope these ones wont spontaneously combust like the current ones do almost weekly
Can’t wait to see one fly off the rails!
Why go to Six Flags when you can get the same thrill rides on the T? 😅
They have money for new trains but the the network is outdated
A total of 20 seats good job for a train coming out in 3 years
why is always undermaintain....
they are already out of service
Never underestimate the MBTA's ability to shatter new incident records. 😓

Finally, they make so much money and they don’t fix anything
Have you not being paying attention to what the new GM is doing? The T is faster than it's been in, like, two decades.

Narrow is what you get with 100% low floor cars. The wheels need to go somewhere.
Interesting. Maybe they shouldn’t try to make the whole thing low floor then. I enjoy how some seats felt higher up.
The absolute dumbest idea that I have ever seen in my life!!!!!! A total waste of money!!!!!!!!
WOW .... No steps , great for the thieves, pick-pockets, and druggies, .... they won't trip while running through the cars .....
Also people in wheel chairs and mobility issues… idk if stairs were a big crime deterrent bud
