I don't know. My main problem is that the anime doesn't seem to be able to choose a lane and just switches whenever it feels like it. One moment, the MC is like using RL logic and applies it to the game (because it's just so fantastic) and the next, it's only about skills in game again. Or when the MC is shown in one moment to go through several wikis before even starting the game just to then having missed a major gameplay element because he skipped the first town. Or when the MC is one moment about the discovery of the world just to then directly start to think in just numbers again and only seeing it as a game. Or when the NPCs sometimes not even mention that Sunraku died several times and ignore that (because it's a video game), but the same NPCs are then suddenly worried he could die (because they are supposed to be real characters). Or when the game's own systems suddenly don't work again. Apparently they try to reduce PKing by PKers losing their gear when being defeated only for that to never actually happening. And let's not forget that the game is supposedly so popular that 30 million people play it, but not only is our MC stumbling over every special scenario by accident (without anyone knowing how) but it apparently also doesn't allow several groups to enter a boss room or it allows for NPCs to permamently die. Yeah, remember those PKers? What do you think people knowing this would do just to be annoying to others? But that strangely never happens.
@@Modie to me that’s pretty much accurate how people play games nowadays. Sometimes you get really invested in a story or an MPC, other times you just remember it’s code, sometimes use logic sometimes you use mechanics, and when you do both of those you’ve mastered the game. Also Since when did we see a PKer die? We never saw someone significant with the saddest die yet, and if it did happen, maybe they just lost all their stuff and grind for it back or had some extra lying around or something. That happens before in video games. There are moments where I have a spare of a weapon I really like stashed away somewhere I think that makes more sense. Also, I think the whole thing lycagon is perfectly reasonable considering this a really rare monster. Think of it like shiny Pokémon. And also it spawns at night, we’re 90% of players won’t go to because there’s monsters out during that time. So it makes sense. I don’t know it’s me it’s not inconsistent. But if you still think that that’s OK.
@@jaredtheastralartist2510 Maybe I didn't make this clear. My problem is not just with the MC switching back and forth, but with the game itself. Sometimes it wants to be more like a RL simulation and then it just wants to be a numbers game again. Like the NPCs that sometimes react "normally" and sometimes act more like game NPCs. Or when the boss can lose his sword in one moment but then just spams the same attack over and over which also goes through any block if it isn't a Crit block. I mean, that's even ignoring the fact that this means the boss can only be beaten by a very certain mechanic to begin with. Which, considering how rare these events apparently are, makes it a really strange design decision. Ehm, Pencilgon herself died. Is that name enough? But I guess since she died before they explained what the drawbacks of PKing was, the show was just able to brush it away.

YOU WANNA FIGHT
Okay, im done with crunchyroll on youtube. Almost every clip video has massive spoilers in the thumbnail and title. I want to stay subscribed for anime trailers but god, can you stop spoiling every single anime as soon as the episode comes out?
anything that's meant to be a trailer is marked as such. anything else are clips of hype moments from that weeks episodes. bet your also one of those that complains about supposed spoilers in the comments of the episode when there talking about the episode.
disappointed the animation studio here should went to ragna crimson smh
You are wrong and should be ashamed of yourself
