I think this is a great budget friendly planner option, and is definitely comparable to the more expensive planners on the market. Thank you for doing this video. I am looking into planning, but I am not into the decorating. I am trying to get my life together not scatter my brain over decorating. I did not even know that TJ maxx or ROSS even carried nice planners. You game me some nice options. I want a little more to it, but for the price point I can work with it.
That was a good evaluation of the planner. Thanks for showing what the pen does to the paper. I just purchased The Happy Planner and found my favorite pen (Sharpie) bleeds through the page as well. I never thought to check TJMaxx but will need to keep that in mind. :-)

See I like it when people go a lil faster, I felt this was pretty slow. I do have 3 kids though ha ha... Maybe in future vids you could brezzy through at the beggining add small talking points and then go back and make all your detailed talking points for people who want a lot of detail. Anyhow thanks for sharing your very sweet.

I'm using a very similar planner that my mom bought for me at TJMaxx as well. She paid 5.99 and I love it! You don't need to spend a fortune for a planner imo
Just got one of their 18 month ones that comes with stickers at Marshalls. The one I went to had this cover and a black and gold one.
This remind me of the bando planner! But this one is so much cheaper. So cute
I've seen that one! but maybe because of the price and not being totally in love I've passed it up haha.

Thank you, I picked one up today for my daughter and it's really cute. Everything is the same except it's Black soft cover with big bold and gold letters that say "hello 2017". It's lovely and definitely a step up from the dollar store planners I usually get her.

I have a HP and I really don't do any scrapbooking on it to glam it up. I just have a 10 color multi-pen that I use so write in. That works for me.

I just saw at TJ Maxx these very similar ones from Fringe and that looks very much like the EC on the outside if you are interested, for $10 as well. :)
Just picked up a Eccolo planner 2017-2018 version of this planner at Marshalls and I love it! I didn't even know about this brand until I saw your video YESTERDAY. Thank you for this wonderful suggestion.

Omg I so need this in my life! Thanks for posting! I have the HP and the Day Designer (which is somewhat similar to this one) but this one is so much more practical. I absolutely hate disc bound (but love the versatility of it).. And I feel the same about the HP.. I constantly feel like mine is so bare just because I typically only have time to slap a few plans in and go on with my life. I always hated horizontal just because I hardly had any room but this is soo spacious

Thank you for sharing. I love the way they have set up the Happy Planners but it is way too expensive and I'm a single mom. So this is awesome this brand is cheaper and available in TJ Maxx.

I hope you haven't cut the pages out if that planner. Just uncoil it. See if it will fit in a regular binder. I or washi tape the holes repurchase with the happy planner hole punch and get some disc. I've seen the pink flamingo file folders at Tuesday ?Morning, you could cut punch and laminate front and back covers. Hope I can find that planner

UPDATE: I did find this planner at Marshall's, it was on the table at the end of the journal section, with 3 others, same style but different colors/covers. I ended up getting the pink and gold one that says Hello 2017 on the front. Also according to the cashier these are very popular, so better head out soon. Hope that helps anyone trying to find one. 😃 Oh also should look carefully at the planner, because the other one I looked at the first page was put in upside down, not a huge deal but something to look at.

Yes! Please decorate it! Lol. I purchased a Plum Paper planner last night for about $40 including shipping. And I know it will be great. But, I came across your video last night as well and like that this planner is affordable and quite cute. Before I purchased the planner, for several days I was at Marshall's looking for a planner. Now wouldn't you know it. Lord and behold the one featured in this video, I found it there 😁😃. I was like seriously lol. I e-mailed plum paper to cancel *fingers crossed* and purchased this one. So thank you for the video!! New subbie.

+Maite Victoria I was able to cancel the order!! Lol and I absolutely love this planner. It's spacious and I like the layout. I wish the paper waa thick like the Lilly Pulitzer that I owned before this. But I love it! I also got the Black recollections from Michael's with the Blk/Gold monthly layouts. I'm obsessed I tell you!! I had to buy one for my mom in gold with the colorful layouts. I use both planners. Thank you maite!! xoxoxo

Maite Victoria It sure didn't! LOL!! But I needed something to carry me over temporarily until I get a disc system set up. I found out a lot about planning this year. I need to be able to move pages around, and my seasonal planning can be so different. My spring cleaning projects are set up differently than my holiday projects or my summer trips. I like using horizontal weeklies in summer versus vertical weeklies for the holidays, and I'm determined to not to have a different notebook for everything! I may have to have a different planner for each season the way I change out my bags! LOL! AND my planners though functional are not beautiful like yours. There are erasures and not enough stickers or art!! No, no, no. I would never show anyone! I look to you for inspiration ;)
hahaha, thats why i asked! bc i remember way back when cutting a page just to see if it would fit, and it didn't work out, so i was like maybe i really did this wrong?? I love that! seasons of life change so much, even the literal seasons. I think coming to that conclusion for yourself is the biggest hurdle. i think you're going to love my big announcement then if you like to change out weekly layouts in a discbound system ;))) Also I am alll for functional planning meets design, my crazy monthly spreads I did in my HP were fun bc I love to play with paper, but I never wrote on them. ChewyDee Delite, Can please let me know if the ones you saw comes in this beautiful hot pink with the gold flamingos on it? I have searching for this planner for months since August when I first saw them and they only had 2 on the shelf. One someone beat me to it and the other one was damaged.
I've been seeing them pop up recently! I've only seen one in this exact design though, but it's so hit or miss, that definitely could just be my local stores. Definitely worth a shot, I hope that helps! xoxo

Lol :) The one I use is a simple calendar from the Target Dollar Spot, and then I decorate it each month. I just saw an 18 month 2017 - 2018 version of this at Winners in BC, Canada. It has this same cover and sells for $14.99 Canadian. I didn't buy it b/c I felt that the pages felt too thin and flimsy. I was also thinking that the cover would look dirty after handling it daily b/c it is kind of like a micro fine velvet-like texture. Did you find that yours got dirty quickly? I imagine if you didn't use it daily, it probably wouldn't, but I thought I'd ask b/c I specifically searched for a review of this planner. I keep thinking about it and wanted to hear what others had to say before I go and buy it. I am such a sucker for hot pink!
hi! I didn't use mine daily at all so I can't really speak to that. However, I have used planners that had covers made of a similar material and never had any issue/ find that material quite durable. I hope that helps!

I recognized that cover right away. I have an Eccolo planner that I found at TJ Maxx that's just for 2017, that's sewn, and when its open it displays one month and it has that same cover. That hot pink is AMAZING. Super basic but I'm not into planning so I should be able to use it, even if its just to make note of family birthdays. Honestly, I got it because it was $4 or $5 and I can't resist flamingos. Was pleasantly surprised at the paper quality of the pages. It's really nice and almost as thick as the cover.

You have to go to the actual store. TJ Maxx and Marshall. Hope you have a local location. I had to go to 3 different stores until I found mine. Luckily my 3rd store had a worker who was extremely helpful and she was able to find them for me.

Don't cut the pages out. Remove the spiral cut a slit in each hole. Pop it in the happy planner
The Happy Planner does not have to be glam at all. I barely decorate mine and I still find it useful.

+Maite Victoria I originally got the pink and teal one, it has a leather like material. But that same weekend I was able to find your flamingo one. The worker at tjmaxx had one, In her return box then she found a brand new box that had 3 of these ☺️. I promptly brought all of of them 😩. I shared with my mom and friend and I have 1 left. Ive gone planned crazy. I've brought a happy planner, recollections, plum paper plus about 7 or 8 more random ones from tjmaxx, marshalls, Walmart, and Ross. I think I need a intervention 😩.

my sister bought this planner from marshalls about two weeks ago. I went back to go get me one and they were all gone. I was so mad. I searched online everywhere and found only one on eBay for $48! I was like really. couldn't even find it on their website. I was so sad.
don't be discouraged!! Don't forget to check marshalls and homegoods. I just saw the most stunning planners from Fringe at Marshalls today, which I hadn't seen before. I almost like them more than this one...eek help
