Not much cost here, life is super affordable, and big mall next to the western campus(all campus are connected but it is divided into 3 parts), super convenient. You may need a bike or scooter here cuz the campus is huge. I love the cafeterias and restaurants run by the university, over 20 across the campus.
@ it depends, your major and your Chinese proficiency. generally as one of the top university in China,you dont need to worry about the faculty and courses quality, they are way above average,worldwide, But usually english is the second or even third language for these faculty,so if the lecture is given by english rather than chinese, the experience gonna be downgraded somehow.
I spent 2 years there from 2009 to 2011... it was a wonderful time in what is maybe the best campus in China.
