I love Halloween 2 Nick but here is something I couldnt figure out for years. Karen walks in via an electric locking close door and somehow Micheal gets in ON CAMERA walking in and nobody notices that. For starters a) he doesn run so he would had bolted before it closed and b) they never thought to check the footage. THEN I was told there was a deleted scene where the power briefly goes out no doubt by Mike's hand and the doors dont lock allowing him in or camera footage A pity about Mr Garrent because he was hunky for a guard. I guess I love a moustached man in a uniform. The pied guard got the same look in Killer Klowns from outer space

Some facial bones have these small holes that are called foramen and there are vessels that pass through them such as nerves which go from your face to your brain. One of the most well known is your mental foramen, which is between your bottom lip and your chin, and this is one of the nerves that dentists have to numb before doing oral surgery. Anyway, that zygomatic hole, or zygomatic foramen I mentioned earlier, is why the needle didn’t appear to get stopped by the skull…it probably passed right through the foramen and penetrated the eye. Cutting open human bodies really teaches you so much about how we’re built and it’s so fascinating. 😄

I just discovered your channel and am currently bingeing your videos and having a glorious time. Also, regarding the elevator sensor thing, I always assumed as you did, that his hand would make the elevator open. Then, a few months ago, I saw someone in my dorm (a fairly new building, so the elevators weren’t older) try to stop the door from closing by sliding a Gatorade bottle through the gap and that door did not budge, just kept squeezing down on the bottle, which was wider than a fist. Of course, it immediately brought that scene in Halloween II to mind. I think maybe there’s a point of no return where the doors are just going to keep closing.
Door sensors can fail, and that happened a lot back then. An elevator at the time this movie was filmed was likely made in the 70s. Door sensors in certain kinds of elevators in the 1970s failed a lot. Also, there are various kinds of sensors. While it’s very uncommon to come across now, elevators made in the 1950s often used pressure sensors (so the door doesn’t stop until it pushes against something & often continues pushing due to momentum).

Really disappointed that they removed the sibling elements from new films, because I feel that would explain why Laurie is traumatized and in such a survivalist mode. I'd imagine constantly combating an unstoppable killer ( relative or not) would be a cause 4 severe PTSD and cobstant vigilance. Btw great reaction to this classic film too. Kudos.

I totally lost the reference. However now that I know what it is, he definitely should have had priority over Laurie. 3. If Darth Vader can be Luke's father, Michael can be Laurie's brother.

That was only in the TV edition which required additional scenes to be filmed in order to fit the TV runtime. It's not in the original.
