Your videos are super helpful Ev! In one of your screens, you shared on your Reminders, I love your reminder that says, "Your Days are Your Art." So right on! Thank you
Not yet, but I’ll put it on the list. And by the way if you put your cursor in the field name and type CMD+K -> Set hide field conditions … you can hide them 😀
Inspiring! Good point on manual vs automatic that I hadn't thought about! Not everything gets better by automating it, for sure 🙂 It's easy to get lost in the possibilities without thinking about what actually works best
Thanks. I don’t actually auto-initialise it. I just enter it manually. But if you did want to do that, you should be able to set the field up as an instance if the #week tag and then auto initialise to ancestor tag. Then you would just need to setup your weekly plan underneath the corresponding week. Hope that makes sense!
@@EvChapman Thanks! By the way, I agree with what you said in the video regarding manual entry. It's a good way to be mindful of where we are in our plan!
Great Question! Tana automatically creates weeks and they are nested under a year tag. So I will just switch the search to the view the weeks under the new year tag
4:10 You mention your Daily Schedule is set up so that everything is a meeting. This seems like Set child supertag, but is on a field and not a supertag - how is that done? Thanks!
Oh it's an instance field, that's why adding the tag is suggested rather than being on every node already? Didn't think of using it in this was, that's great - thanks for sharing Ev!
Nice video. I am planning to do a similar setup in Tana. Desperately waiting for an invite for the last 2 months. Can you spare an invite for me? Thanks for doing these videos. They are really helpful to get inspired from.
Thanks for making these vids and sharing! I too love to see how other people are using the tool.

Thanks! Yes that one I stole from Ash Ambirge. It's going to be my mantra for 2023.
Very helpful! Do you have a video where you set these fields up? Not sure how to make fields auto-tag, for instance, or even hide them, etc. thanks!

Yes totally! It's been a revelation to me, because I was all about automating everything for years.
So many great tips here, Ev! Thank you for sharing. All the best in 2023!
Thanks George! And to you too
Very helpful. Would have liked to see how you set up your daily log search in the last part of the video
I’ve got another video coming next week on how to do those setups!
Can we see how you set up your tasks (supertag fields?)
Awesome video! How do you setup you week plan field to automatically initialize to the corresponding week?

Hi Eve, i'm JF from France. I use Tana since a week. What is "+ Start tracker" and the others "+ ..." under Tomorrow, Sun, 25th ? Thanks!
Hey Jean! They are hidden fields. You can hide any fields in a supertag by going the field configuration & setting the 'Hide Conditions' to When Empty
Thank you, Ev, very interesting! Just one question: if you number weeks 1-52, how will you proceed with naming them in 2024?

Yep! Correct. If you set the field up as an instance field it will automatically tag it as a meeting.
How du i set this up?
You can configure your #day supertag by clicking on the tag & adding in the fields you see in the video

Reach out to me via DM on Twitter and I'll see what I can do
This organization seems very complex. Only your brain can understand it.
I find most people’s day pages are pretty specific to the individual. You should take inspiration but build it how your brain works 😁
@@EvChapman I understand, anyway I will watch all your videos to find some insights on how to use Tana.
@lenproductiv-xz1nf appreciate it Ken! Hopefully you find them useful.
