@@Eric-kn4yn These ones are cloth.
Hi Mark, that is a very rare car, have not seen these in the UK only in books , tv and you tube I don't think Peugeot made these 202 in RHD. Nice little car you have there and does it still starts up and runs well. Great video catch you soon, Take care
Thanks Shaun. Yes, it runs and drives really well. Certainly a rare car. 👍
Another great video Mark very interesting vehicle and very much ahead of its time. Thanks for shearing 👍
Thanks very much Nathan 👍
another great episode I learnt more about this unusual car.
Thanks very much 👍
stunning art deco style. Very cute cars. Always use to think of those as FWD, But since i got to drive one as a kid YES it was a woody so very very very rare.
I spoke to the old blokes so much with my knowledge and i was friendly
They let me drive it,
Sould still be in WA today :) Now am 27 not to meany people my age know lots about lovely Vintage
Did you know us aussies got in small numbers of Packards I adore packards
Also you know the kaiser manhattan, There is one in WA with a lovely flat head. The men where so shocked a 26 ( this was last year ) knew so much about a rare car never sold new here.
As well as Checkers Not just the marathon i know lots about the pre 1958 There is a few marathons here BUT i dont think anything older then those.
:)
Thanks very much. It’s great you are into classic cars. The future of the hobby. 👍
Nice car, Mark. Thank you for this video. Cheers from NZ🇳🇿.
Thanks Michael. I think this is a very interesting little car and love its art deco styling. 👍
Interesting car and video thanks for sharing.
Thanks Gerard. 👍
Great video, as all yours are.
I too like the history behind things. Like you mentioned it’s amazing to think what that little car has seen in its long life.
Thanks again for your great videos.
Thanks very much. I appreciate it. 👍
Great video Mark. Fascinating. Like you I like to get the workshop manual, parts list and brochures for the cars I own. It’s all part of the story. Yes, this car could tell some stories. Enjoy your lovely car. Look forward to more videoes on it.
Thanks Peter. Much appreciated 👍
I'm really digging those centre mounted headlights behind the grille. It looks weird, and I could imagine they'd be exceptionally useless, but the design looks great!
Thanks. I have not driven it at night, so not sure about the effectiveness? The lights look to be modern replacements, so maybe not so bad. I don’t really plan to drive it at night anyway 👍
night driving the speed it travelled big lumens not essential
I was driving remote area at night ìn kommodore german build in a hurry 140 160kph lights were not up to the job 4 safety I can see driving lights essential..
@@Eric-kn4yn Yes, I guess you drive accordingly. Many US cars do not have great headlights although you can upgrade them. 👍
I didn’t manage to comment the other day so now I see you have it I’m excited to see you do a full review on your new project ❤
Thanks. Check out the previous video I did re the history too as it is quite an interesting story. 👍
Mark okay please do a full video of your new 202(it’s important)
@MegaSkypes I will do a more in depth video down the track. There are many really cool features of the car. 👍
Interesting video, Mark and yes, it's good to have eclectic tastes. I like the Iso Grifo (at 11.13) and I know the next one is a Messerschmitt KR 200 Kabinroller, having ridden in one back in the early '60's. The XA GT we all know and love, though there are very few of the CG110 Datsun 240K/Skyline still around. It was a car that I was involved with when I was at Nissan-Datsun, back in the 1970's. You've got me on the red one after it, though; what is it?
Thanks very much. The red one is actually one of my cars. 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT with a 429 Cobra Jet with Ram Air. My favourite muscle car. 👍
@@markbehr88 Oh, sweet! That looks very nice and with the 429 Ram Air option, I'll bet it goes nicely, too! 👍
@@chrisweeks6973 Yes, spins the tyres in second gear and it’s an auto! 😀👍
Holly wow so old my grandfather had a 203 never heard of the 202
Yes, they sold quite a few Peugeot 203’s in Australia. 👍
@@markbehr88 I owned a 504 Peugeot my pop gave me he gave me a whole big lecture about the car before giving it to me saying that it had the rally inspiration huge wheel bearings four wheel disk brakes wet sleeved engine Webber intake closed in tail shaft five speed box I drove that car for about 10 years without fault. Never let me down in that thing went fairly quick. Fora 4 cylinder !!! One of the best cars ever I’ve driven as in refinement and quality wish I never sold it he’d be turning over in his grave 😢🤔🤣
@@michaelbyrnes7944 The 504 was a tremendous car. Really durable and great ride. 👍
Hi Mark
I like your varied taste in cars! You're right each car is different and there is more than one "flavour" and each offer different experince!
I one reply you say it came to Australia via Holland... I do find interesting how and why it winded up here, did someone imported or was it you? Just because you liked car?
Thanks Ivano. I recently bought the car from a chap who brought the car into Australia. I need to find out more of the background if I can, however, I believe it went from France to Holland (classic car dealer). 👍
@@markbehr88 Thanks :)
Hey Mark - Regular Car Reviews just dropped an ‘87 Buick Riviera coupe in Rosewood clip. I think you might enjoy it.
👍
Cheers Mark. A very interesting car. Forgive my Bogan roots, do you think the 202 has elements in the body shape like the swept back grill that have found and still find their way into very expensive custom Hot Rods?
Thanks. I reckon things like the 34 Ford grille etc are all part of the Art Deco style that was popular all over the world. 👍
@@markbehr88 nazi germany went for neo classicism closed down the bauhaus modernity art deco was frowned at decadent blood and soil lauded
Yes, that’s right. Frivolous. 👍
How much is the car worth
I wouldn’t like to say. Where do you get another one? 🤔👍
Do you know how many previous owners?
No, I am looking into it. I know it came to Australia via Holland. 👍
