Finally found one in this color yesterday. This was considered the 'second' color of the real car and I think it is the 'later' release from Hot Wheels for this year. The 'seafoam' color was the earlier release/ first version of the car. I noticed the same issues with the paint that yours has. The little chrome dots on the cowl that you thought were rearview mirrors are spot lights, turned face-down. They were really popular with customs at the time. I like mine better after I fill the centers of the wheels in with a chrome pen. The black centers make it look like he lost his hubcaps. Thanks for the great review!
Hirohata was a guy who customized the Mercury Club Coupé into this lead sled custom style with the lowered roof and lowered chassis. Cool casting. I also like it. There will be at least two of them in this year. Not sure if this here is the first or second one because the colour combination will look similar for people with short time memory like I have. Haha. Sometimes it's happening that I've bought a "new" model for the fourth time. Luckily these HW models aren't so expensive.
@@amazingpradeep1235 The other one has a seafoam coloured body. Yet I've only came across the seafoam but didn't see the metalflake apple green from your video. Unfortunately I don't know which one is the first or second release in this year. On Hot Wheels Wiki I noticed that there will be also two more releases for 2025 in plum (one will be in spectraflame plum as Super Treasure Hunt). Definately a great looking casting. EDIT: I figured out yours is already the second release because of the production date code T21. The seafoam is T03-T08 (so production from week 3-8 in 2024).
