I love Jodeci so much. Their first two albums are pristine. They were played before and after school. They're trendsetters and they can sing like no other (especially K-Ci♥). I had posters, cassettes, cd's, imports, you name it, I had it. Dalvin, you keep sayin' that r&b was takin' the backseat, but if I remember clearly, r&b was poppin'. D'Angelo, Mary J., Faith, R. Kelly, Brandy and a few others were on fire. Maybe I'm missing something or don't remember. I didn't like Father MC too much, but if Jodeci was singin' on the track then that's all I need. He was so overlooked. Really Sway? Drake and J Cole can sing? Rap, sure, but sing? Man please. I rock with Boyz II Men, but they disappointed the hell outta me with that alternative bullsquat they released last year. I heard it and said, WTF IS THIS? DAMN! I didn't like one song. I didn't hear one signature Wanya riff or nothin'. At least Jodeci stayed true to r&b (kinda). Ya'll need to take my advice and release Incredible or Stress Reliever as the next singles. I know this is 5yrs later if bobbys solo album came out in 1986/87? Bobby was street then. He was wearing hiphop clothes and suits. Then his 2nd solo was out in 1988. He wore hiphop/street outfits and suits. Jodeci came out in 81. Wearing suits or hiphop outfits. Bbd came out 1990.rizzos solo album came out 1990. Both bbd and rizzo wore hiphop outfits and suits.
The documentary I watched on Da Bassment exposed Devante was an abusive manager/producer or whatever the heck he was. That’s why Missy, Timbaland, Magoo and Ginuwine left.
Now I’m not sure if Gin, Missy and Timb actually got assaulted themselves because as you know it wasn’t just them 3. There were quite a few other artists but after finding that out he went from being one of the finest male for me to the ugliest.
