Nokio tried to fight someone in the audience. People started leaving, Sisqo started singing thong song and more and we were able to enjoy the song!!
That’s not true the first album was a lot of woody, jazz and sisqo and Nokio sprinkled in.
Not true. On the first two albums it was a mix of all four members voices. They each took turns on lead.

I have to give so much credit to Sisqo for keeping it extremely loyal especially in this industry (or any for that matter). I loved hearing “tell me” on MTV when I was in high school. Hearing in my bed changed the way I heard music. I fell in love with music. Everybody loves music but there’s that one song that you fall in love with for the first time in your life. It changed my ear, how I heard every genre of music from the beat to the lyrics everything was changed. Their whole first album was beautiful. And by the time I heard “beauty” which is my favorite song ever; they had solidified themselves as my favorite group ever. Thank you Dru Hill for unlocking music for me.

It's really sad that Woody feels the way he does about the group. Music is medicine for the soul and we can't just erase Dru Hills history. For anyone who was in high school when Dru Hill came out this group means a lot to them. I had their first three albums. Their harmony together made Dru Hill. His voice is amazing in it's own way. I will continue to support the group through it's different phases
I know this isn't the Dru Hill we're used to...but I saw this iteration of the group last weekend and they were GREAT! Smoke and Black can really SING! They added a lot of harmony to the songs, had moments where they got to spotlight their talent, and even sang "Cheers to You" for us! I would definitely see them in concert again. I think though if you're going to interview "Dru Hill" then interview the group. Seems like they just wanted to interview Sisqo (and it makes it awkward to just have the other guys - who are talented as well - just sitting there twiddling their thumbs).
Sounds like a lot of ego going on. It may be a hard pill to swallow but Sisqo is a stand out. Not everyone has what it takes to go solo (and be successful).

I was debating with my brother in law about Sisqó. He was saying that he does too much when he’s on the stage and I said he’s a PERFORMER! 😂😂 I told him he would be the hater in the group because Sisqó is doing what he can’t. Maybe some of that went on in the group for real.
@@millyh4660 He is extra but I think that's what a lot of people like about him. The whole place was singing the songs so there's still something there with just him (from the original group). And they screamed when he did all his acrobatics lol

Man... you CANNOT deny loving Dru Hill. Hate that they're going thru so many members but these two new dudes seem cool. They're not Woody , Nok and Jazz but they're cool.

Underrated group they was behind Boyz II Men and Jodeci they was in between 112 BlackStreet and Jagged Edge one of the best groups of all time in R&B definitely in the mid-late 90s

Honestly, as long as Sisqo is still apart of it, I'll continue to listen to and support the new music of Dru Hill...he was my favorite anyway lol and I loved Playa as a kid too, so it's a win-win for me anyway...there's like 5 different groups from New Edition and we all still love them lol...it's the same thing lol

Grace U I agree with you that Sisqo along with the fabulous voices of Black and Smoke formally of Playa are Uber EXCELLENT! As was the original Dru Hill group starring Jazz, Nokio, Sisqo, and Woody. But, I disagree with your characterization of New Edition. The correct way to describe New Edition is to say that in addition to the original five members plus Johnny Gill, there have been seven branches/spin-offs of New Edition (i.e. Solos: Bobby, Ralph & Johnny; Groups: BBD, Heads of State, RBRM, as well as Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant together). No matter what the combination, the members of New Edition always stayed the same. With Dru Hill the members have actually changed over the years.
