Yes, I'd agree. There was a lot of socializing after matches. There was space for backs. No defensive lines. Defensive lines were something in American football and rugby league.

There was a massive Cliche in Welsh rugby and if your face didn’t fit then you wouldn’t get picked for Wales i.e David Bishop.

Rugby was better then. Not as many injuries, few running into tackles, no defensive lines. Better tactical kicking.
