Dua basically spearheaded the 80s sound trend in the music industry that is going on. You guys should check out her song ‘Don’t Start Now’, an absolute disco banger.

@@moiraohara I’m not saying Dua singlehandedly brought 80s back, what I’m saying is she was ahead of the curve in the current scene and inarguably one of the key artists that brought the sound back.
She started her era in late 2019 and The Weeknd in early 2020 but that doesn’t mean anything because their albums have completely different sounds and themes yet having influences from the ‘70s and the ‘80s.

I'm Metalhead but I do enjoy Dua Lipa especially her latest album Future Nostalgia. Really has an 80s/Retro vibe in it.
the clip at the end was Divine, one of the most iconic drag queens to have ever existed. She worked a lot with John Waters (pink flamingos)
Dua Lipa (especially on Future Nostalgia) always has sick baselines. Also, reference to the Rocky Horror Picture Show with the lips in the intro

I love Miley's new stuff! So great!
Miley does know how to play the guitar though she doesn't do it often. (She did in Hannah Montana several times)
My thoughts on the song:
Loved the Bassline. Gave it a groovy retro 80's feeling while at the same time having some modern feels to it in some areas. The voices really complenent each other, Miley has a powerful and "agressive" or rockish voice but she sings it at a lower volume to match Dua's softer pop voice. The drums leading into the chorus are also great. Loved this song overall.
