currently he is filming Don't Worry Darling...it's a thriller...Harry plays the husband of an unhappy housewife...So I hope this villain role will come true.....Plot unknown. Described as a psychological thriller centering on an unhappy housewife in the 1950s.

He has a wide variety of “style” in his work. I have only been listening to him for a couple of years but have enjoyed every minute of getting to listen to him. Medicine live at St. Paul, Sign of the times, kiwi live 3x are a few. He has so many good covers. I love his live stuff. Hope you guys check out more, well worth the time.

I loved your reaction! Im 37 and my brother introduced me to his FineLine album at the start of this year and I was blown away! he reminds me of the greats of the 60s and 70s but with his own twist, hes also just a kind person, I hope you will check out more of his music :)

You would also be surprised by what One Direction sounded like in their later years...much more rock than pop! Harry Styles is a bonafide rock star. Check out Kiwi on the Late Late Show. He is like a mix of Mick Jagger and David Bowie. One Direction did a cover of Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus (I loved that song back in the day...I'm in my 40s so loved that punk/pop/rock of the late 90s-early 2000s). This is when it was clear that he was meant to be a rock star! Check it out!
IDK if this will resonate with you guys but the LEGENDARY Stevie Nicks said that Fine Line was her favorite album of 2020. That is HIGH praise.
He has a wide vocal range but Golden is just a relaxing "driving down the coast song" (according to Harry), also it is an intro of the album so I guess it wasn't supposed to show vocal skills, so might be a bit of a cliff hanger if you hear him for the first time. To hear his vocal range you might want to check out Girl Crush, Sweet Creature and The Sign of the Times, Falling, Sledgehammer - all preferably live :)
His debut single ‘sign of the times’ is where he showed his vocal ability the most.. also his second album “fine line” is a masterpiece and he experimented w/ that album A LOT more than the debut, and all of the songs had completely different instruments, and he made a story line out of so its important to listen to the lyrics on fine line.. enjoy your journey with harry :))

A guy from uni a few years again forced me to listen to Harry Styles as he was obsessed with him, which didn’t make much sense to me as I just thought of him as too boy bandish, but listening to Sign of The Times illuminated to me why this guy legit idolised him.

So glad you guys reacted to this, I’ve been meaning to listen to it but never got around to it haha. I honestly loved it! It’s got such a ‘play this on a summer road trip’ vibe.
His first released solo album also got me good- it has Beatles/Bowie/Elton John vibes and some of the songs are some of my absolute favs 😭 you both should definitely give it a listen sometime when you’re on a decently long drive!
If you don't know Harry Styles what you need to know is he is basically a high key artsy nerd who happened to get famous in a boy band (which he is proud of). He does stuff like disapear to Japan for a month to read novels, chair the met gala, pose for a highly avant-garde art magazine in London- but is also not up himself and loves what he does. Also the production on his stuff is actually really detailed and clean and both his albums have been award nominated. Personally one of my favourites and I think a really good intro into his stage presence is Medicine (live at St Paul), She is one of my favourites sonically, and To Be So Lonely is great lyrically. (Equally check out some later era one direction they're way more rock than people expect.)
Im 47 and an alt rock chick who as Bowie lyrics tattooed on me...and im about to get Harrys line from ths song..Loving you's the antidote next.His music ,voice and style is so so good.I got into him thanks to my Bowie loving 12 year old...grabbed both his albums last christmas and wow. Sweet creature, Sign of the times,Golden and Lights out are my FAVES.

You should check out of his solo work. One of my students suggested I listened to his first album and became such a fan of his. He's so charismatic as well. Love him so much ❤️

Harry is simply amazing. Singer, songwriter, actor, tv-show host, and time to time Gucci-model.
His talent, charisma and stage presence is unmatched in his generation.
He is an old soul, and his music is very diverse, as he himself is very open minded when it's about different musical genres and styles (by the way, Styles is his real name).
His heavily influenced by the 70s, 80s music. His childhood idol (and now close friend) is Stevie Nicks, until now they performed 3-4 songs together live. Harry has a great band, and only ever performs live. And records his albums only with real instruments, among which loads of interesting and rarely used ones (guitalele, dulcimer, electric sitar)

I’m sure we will! He’s very popular. But, like with blackpink supporters, we find they only come back for that artist. We essentially want this to be a way for people to experience and give a chance to ALL genres and support all of our reactions, just like we as metal heads are doing with other styles. Obviously One Direction and Harry's former band mates as solo artists. Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks in solo. 5 Seconds of Summer. Lizzo. Orwill Peck. Kacey Musgraves. Cam Ochs. Ariane Grande. T.Swift.
Either way, you cannot loose 😉

By the way, the list of artists in my previous posts are the most typical other favorites of the harries. But it doesn't mean they only like them. Just there's an overlap.
For example in my case Fletwood Mac, 5SOS and One Direction (last 3 albums) are the overlap. Otherwise, I'm a classic rock fan. Queen and solo Roger Taylor, Led Zep and everything else Jimmy Page's name were ever atteched (I'm not so big fun of Robert's solo stuff), Doors, T.Rex, Iron Maiden. And I'm a huge fan Michael Hutchence and the INXS. I also like Kings of Leon and Red Hot Chilli. And the list could go on with other names from the 70s-80s-90s.
My other favorite musical genre is hot jazz from 30s, 40s, 50s. My shelf is full of Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holliday, L.Armstrong, Frank Sinatra CDs.
I know it's already eclectic, but I also like certain sub-genres of electronic music (goa, trance, bigbeat, break beat, dnb, nu jazz, world music etc). My biggest favorite is Thievery Corporation. Finally I saw them live in last July, after so many years...
This post became very long and a bit personal, sorry for that. The only aim was too share that Harry Styles' fanbase is very diverse, in age group and in musical taste as well. And there are more and more people among us, who are "only harries" and not "directioners"

I’m a huge classic rock fan as well, it’s kinda where my love for metal started, being that it’s guitar driven. The video for Falling should be up next. It’s incredible, a work of art really. And no worries, there are plenty of people who are too old for One Direction, couldn’t care less, and are major Harry fans (🙋🏼♀️). He’s come into his own and it’s perfection.
