Can you make a tutorial on how you made the beginning sound in the track (before the drop)? If not, can you direct me towards something that would help do just that? Thanks in advance. I LOVE THIS CHANNEL and am so happy I found out about you guys!
Thanks heaps man!, my only criticism would be if you could zoom in the recording so you could only see massive when your focusing on it. That would make it easier to read as i sometimes find myself struggling to read small digits. Other than that its great!
for music calculator is used? It seems like a pretty useful tool. Thanks for the tips of the tutorial is much appreciated.Sorry for my language, i am spanish. Thanks again and see you next
I loved the tutorial a lot man, it was amazing. I know what I am about to ask is a little off the music topic, but do you know how to make artwork like the one in the videos thumbnail? I have Photoshop, but I'm a noob and it looked super sweet :)
Great tutorial! I like the bass sound especially, the tube amp and the Env 1 modulation really punched it up like crazy. Out of curiosity, why do you bring the attack level down on the envelopes themselves rather than keeping the level ratio the same and just using less modulation on the parameters themselves? Does it have an affect on the sound, or is it just easier to keep it a bit more subtle that way?
Hey Jon, glad you liked it! And yeah it will have an affect on the sound. Specifically when modulating pitch I wanted to modulate the pitch using ENV 1 up to 64 because the higher the pitch, the more it will help punch through the mix. I noticed if I kept the levels on then ENV curve at 100, the pitch modulation became to noticeable.

Kasparas Voludskis Layer a bunch of Claps, like different sounding claps. Pan them out a bit, not hard left and right but enough to simulate that you've recorded multiple people clapping, lather in reverb!
***** Easiest way would be to assign one of Massive's macro knobs to the pitch of each oscillator, with the pitchbend range on each oscillator set to the same amount (-12 semitones, for example). Then automate movement of the macro knob in your DAW. Cheers!
With those lead synths how do you make them all have that pulsey in/out type effect?? I've been trying to figure this out for ages and its why all my tracks just don't have the drive they need...
great job!
2:33 first sound
10:00 second sound
17:06 third sound
I realize it is kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch new movies online ?
I'm watching this 2 years later and it still works a charm!

You said that the filter frequency modulation affects the oscilators, but it is actualy for the filter.
Great tutorial anyway! love ur vids.
WOW this is so nice!! So helpful man! Can you make a tutorial on how you created the part before the drop? Thanks so much for this video
Awesome video!

***** Awesome, totally makes sense. Thanks! :D
this channel is great

How did you make that pitch bend on the longer notes of the synths?
***** HOW DID you get those saws to sound so huge without even putting chords on them!? do you even have chords on any instrument?
how do you describe which leads you're going to use together?
Hi, can you please tell me the name of the computer and the app?
Can you please share your midis, that you use in the video ?
my track doesn't bounce the way yours does. I did phase and vibrato??? still sounds very flat
do u have a tutorial for a intro sound and bass?
When I try recreating this drop it sounds nothing like it. I'm new to this could someone tell me why it sounds so bad when I recreate it.
dope!
Where did you get crowd claps?
Kasparas Voludskis Layer a bunch of Claps, like different sounding claps. Pan them out a bit, not hard left and right but enough to simulate that you've recorded multiple people clapping, lather in reverb!
I wonder if you could just give us the melody of the bass/lead :) other than that great video
How was the pitch being bent down, through automation?
Hey Adam, just the modwheel! You could automate that if you'd like, but I just played it live. Cheers
Epic! I love it.
Ishag Shafeeg Thanks!
***** It's lil wheel on midi keyboards. You will usually have two, a pitch and a mod wheel.

That pulsey sound is usually some sort of sidechain compression
play with the attack and decay
sidechain compress your synths to your kick
Nice :3
great vid but next time could you please zoom in the synth when you tweak it?
Blazy Molds Hey Blazy, I definitely have the zoom closer on all of my new tutorials!
***** Hey ESW, along with sound design could you teach us how to write those melodies and bass and the variations in them please??
a white noise playing a lead?
what daw is that?
Logic Pro X. It was in the top left corner of his screen.
How do you get that pitch to drop down
+Ivo “W” Zoer Automate the pitch knob.
Thank you Cyclotone
Man idk why the bass sounds horrible and not like yours , and I'm following your steps
Whats massive??!!
the sliding notes kinda reminded me of the song in this lol th-cam.com/video/yMyo0OyHCgw/w-d-xo.html
