I'm not really into EDM but I have a massive appreciation of the meticulous techniques involved in producing music that people will viscerally respond to - music that makes people want to get up and go fucking mental and what-have-you. I will be watching many of these videos, I'm sure, and applying the stuff learned to other (even non-electronic) genres. GOOD JOB.

beefdlo EDM is nothing special, it's just an overrated shit !! i mean there are some exception but most EDM track doesn't involve musical quality and that's sad

ugh then why the fuck are you here i knew they would be someone to piss me off and edm isnt a overrated genre rap and hiphop is actually so is rock and metal and orchestral music too

I love the way You explain - mixing is suddenly much more logical than when hearing those other guys saying "If it sounds good, then it's good" - Great Work Dude!

I'm not an EDM producer, just a hip hop producer. You've given me additional mixing ideas. I've also thought of other mixing ideas that I haven't heard anyone else use.

    • @dickinthewind9006

no problem, if you really want it, either get a wav of it in the vid, couple programs online, or use nicky romeros kickstart and loop the section the kick plays and try and replicate it.
when i say you dont want the same kick. its not a that the sound isnt great. its just some what bad to have an exact copy of it, but the practice you get along the way to replicate it might give you something that sounds better to to and appeals to your song more.
