The "Playstation" sound when starting the console was beyond anything you'd ever heard artificially. I literally had ache in my ass for two weeks because I sat and played so much on this console and this game... In this part of the game, music were so relaxing. I liked this one so much, i remember that i tried to play it on my piano when i was 9. But my favourite was at 1:33:22.. I tried to find it during so much time.. Happy to hear it again, it reminds my childhood.

I saw the speedrun on twitch earlier today and youtube recommends me this, not once did i look at anything related to Rayman on YT recently, holy shit this system's getting crafty.
To this day, all these years later, I still have never been able to finish this game. Did anyone else think the difficulty of the levels were somewhat out of place? Some of the earlier levels can be more difficult than later levels then immediately become much more difficult again etc? Very good run, very enjoyable to watch :)
yeah its a neat little trick because if you go through the beggining exit, any tings you have collected become invalid but any deaths will still register so he went in with 9 lives and 70 tings and died once during the level so when he left through the beggining exit he had 8 lives and 70 tings.

the difference surrely comes from the fact that this run is done on NTSC 60 Hz which runs 20% faster than the 50Hz PAL version. And when I think I found that game so difficult to end whereas i was playing on PAL, and being a unconditionnal fan of the Rayman license, I really just have to congratulate you for this work :)
This game should be in the same sentence as Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country when it comes to best side scrolling adventures games ever. The music is on par with DKC.
