I'm very interested in this one. Looks like it might be quite messed up! Hugh Grant likes pie, I bet! The setting looks really cool and I love snowy places! Your face at the end was ace! 😯 Proper creepy! Do you think they get sent into the model or that it was just a misdirect??? The biggest issue with 65 for me was that it went nowhere but I like cute dinos so I enjoyed bits of it 🤣 The way I'm thinking though, Scott Beck & Bryan Woods might have just done it as a way to get a bit more mainstream traction then they would easily be allowed to make this film???
It does look messed up and I love Hugh in this! Ohhh good question, I was thinking it was just like a life size maze based off the model but yeah they might… that would make things different. I guess it’s possible but it almost seems like it was a risky movie rather than like a blockbuster popcorn flick. But maybe that’s true, someone wanted them to do something more mainstream. I don’t think 65 did very well in the box office though so I’m honestly surprised they get to make this. But it is also A24 so…
@@ShawnCBailey Me too! I liked him in The undoing. I usually figure out if a character is guilty or not in the first few minutes but Hugh actually kept me guessing right until the end! He was good in Dungeons & Dragons as well! 😎 That's what I thought at first but then you can see the paint brushes and the model on the table! Oh didn't it?! I thought it would be a popular film being dinos and PG-13, pure kids market. But Adam Driver is just too darn moody to drive a film like that I think. It was a risk for a writer/director team like them and if it didn't do well, it might have just been a toe dip for them. See how the big studio system works?
@@BluRayDisplay I still haven’t seen D&D, I didn’t even realize he was in it. He still has me guessing, I still feel like there’s more to his character and he isn’t necessarily good or bad but we’ll see. Yeah I’m pretty sure it bomber at the theater… I like Adam Driver but he did nothing for that movie. I bet that’s why they had to approach A24 to get this made.
@@ShawnCBailey It's worth it for a laugh. It's more of a comedy than anything but some exciting escapism! Oh you're right I think! He might just be doing whatever he's doing because it's his calling to do so? Manipulated into believing he's working for good but instead it's evil? Oh man, I'm getting excited about this one! I like him too but he always reminds me of a moody teenager! 🤣Yeah, that makes sense.
@ lol you were so worried about it reading “aromatics” with a puzzled look like you didn’t put 2 and 2 together But yeah saw it last night and it was the best horror of 2024 hands down.
Dang I hope it’s anything like Barbarian at all! Seems like mostly, they did a great job creating the maze in Haunt so I’m interested to see the elaborate layout of this house.
His face in that scene where he says they’ll die got me like some dark humor
Perfect delivery from him! Excited to how he plays this!
That ‘Daaaangg’ had like 18 ‘a’s. 😂
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang! 🤣
Another horror role for Sophie Thatcher. She was in The Boogeyman and is in Maxxxine.
Funny how that seems to happen a lot, sometimes 2 or 3 movies in the same year too!
New subscriber to your channel, i like your videos! Cheers from France!
Thank you, appreciate it! 🙏🏻

@@BluRayDisplay Google says it was an overall loss but like it made budget back type of thing I think not like a huge bomb.

Hugh Grant on a horror movie bro
Very excited to see that, he feels like perfect casting.
You seemed to have missed the significance of the candle lol . . .
How so?! I understand it… maybe I didn’t mention it in the reaction.
Regardless saw the film and it’s really good, definitely go check it out.

@Agreed! It’s number one or number 2 for me… I’ll have to let it marinate and see but it was soo good!
Reminds me of Barbarian .. mostly will be in that house looks like
