@@shelbyshepherd8725 Yeah. My daughter in law collects elephants, so I’m painting it for her 😊 It’s nice to build your painting skills, AND it be a gift …2 birds, 1 stone
I watched this tonight while eating dinner. Your animals are amazing. Can’t wait to add do this one. You and John are the best. Never abandon us on TH-cam. ❤️
This one...I don't know what it is about this one. I never felt an attraction to elephants before but this one has me mesmerized. It is so gentle and powerful. I could just snuggle into it. Everyone who has posted theirs on fb has gotten a jaw-dropped emoji from me. I am impressed and moved by every interpretation.

@@carolyndunn9620 My Mammie, great grandmother, didn’t start painting until she was widowed at the age of 65. I was a young girl when she passed away and had no thought that one day I may paint. I would so love to know how she got started since there was not even a thought of internet. I started painting at age 60 after I had a heart attack and could not teach for the rest of the year. I soon retired and am so glad I found The Art Sherpa on TH-cam. I just feel good looking at something I painted. The hardest part is not comparing my painting skills with other peoples’ painting. I am glad your son got you back into painting.
I did too but my mom got to ride an elephant in Saigon when she visited my dad while he was there for the war. THANK YOU TO ALL THAT SERVED OR FAMILIES OF THOSE PEOPLE.
This is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you for showing us exactly how to do it. I’m going to try a 16 x 20 size. Please show us how to paint a zebra and a tiger in this style. And a gorilla! ❤❤❤❤❤
I had a go st painting the elephant but mine is reversed and will have some bush around it. I couldn’t help myself playing more. I am not a painters backside as I’m learning now to put the theory into practice. Thanks to you putting in the time to explain the whys and how’s. I am advancing in knowledge and obtaining some gumption to have a go.
Cinnamon, do you recommend these paintings are painted in the order you air them? Does each one build certain skills or techniques needed for the next in the challenge?
I did this one and the door too, but for some reason, my painting posts are not been approved in the the Acrylic April Challenge FB group. And I dont know why, cause I followed the tutorial and used acrylic. 😢
I checked with our mods on this for you. Your posts are being approved, There are no declined posts that are of the challenges themselves and pertinent to the challenge. 🤎
So love,y cinammon ,it’s wonderful that you have your art to help with your mental health situation,l have mental health problems ,but l cannot find enough push to do my crossstitch or di my art .😍
I just love this one so much! I love the colors !! ❤️ Have u used faber Castell’s Gellatoes ? I just got some and was curious if u used them and if so what ur favorite way to use them ? Thanks
Hi, thank you for your beautiful style of painting, it's much easier than the normal way. You mentioned an unsteady hand which I have a trimmer and it's so difficult for me to draw or paint. Is there any way you can give me advice. Thanks for your time ❤
Hi Cinnamon what a beautiful painting thank you 😊. I am desperately trying to get a Raphael Sepia size 6 round brush but to no avail. I live in the UK do you know where I can access one or could you advise me on an alternative. I am going to start my daily challenge tomorrow. Having been ill since Christmas and unable to paint I feel I’m starting again on my painting journey and so grateful for your time xx Claire😊😊
You are so gifted. I’m amazed by your offerings here on YT!

Can Indian Yellow be used in place of yellow ochre in this one?
Yes, that would be absolutely a lovely color exchange

Definitely feels like it builds

you can do it i believe in you!
WHAT SIZE D BRUSH IS THAT YOUR USEING ?
The first one was a #8. And you can purchase them in my store here store.theartsherpa.com/storefront.aspx 💞
Byeee!😊
bye!!
Can I use a fine Posca pen to do the outline?
Just know that if you plan to varnish it with a brush, the Posca smears. Spray varnish only if you use any markers.

Amazing! ❤ your style, too sorry you are not on this earth anymore. You are missed a lot. 😢😢😢
Totally off topic, I wish you could do a bison painting.
That’s so sad. I love elephants. They should be left alone.😢
