Everytime I get a harvest I called it a blessing because just think about the small things we do and the great things that God does in return.

Congratulations! I always like to see children learning to garden with their parents
put those potatoes in box in a dry place and cover them with some dry sand and u will have fresh potatoes all winter long or until they start to sprout. i have been doing that for over 40 yrs and never have to buy potatoes from the store😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍
Do you use a cardboard box or a different material?
I don't see the sand storage method mentioned anywhere. My grandfather had a large wooden crate filled with dry sand in his dirt floor basement. It had legs like a table, so the large crate was up off the floor and surface area twice the size of a large dining table. Potatoes were stored in that sand all winter.
Man!! What a true blessing, a wheel barrel full of potatoes, all I can say it's a blessing from TMH.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this. I’m 65 and I helped daddy do this but he was too fast for me and I got fired. Lol. He had a huge huge area he farmed. Mom grew organically and daddy was a chemical gardener. They had contests for each other. Something I’ll never forget. You have a BEAUTIFUL garden!!

What a wonderful harvest!! I love the excitement of potato harvesting. I just harvested a small amount of volunteer potatoes. It was such a blessing because I wasn't able to plant any potatoes this year. It was proof that Yah will take care of us when we need Him. I love that you gave thanks for your bounty. God has blessed you with the ability to be a productive and knowledgeable farmer. Not everyone has that blessing, it takes love and perseverance to get results like yours. I love to grow peppers and tomatoes and God has blessed me with that gift.
Need to follow that up with a good cover crop of dycon radishes to help break up that soil and add a ton of organic material to the soil to help restructure the soil.

I planted some potatoes in a 5 gallon pot. My plant still looks good, not wilted yet .I also put my scrapes in it . Sure I get a big harvest!!!!

Try more compost or clippings leaves what ever gets more organic material in that clay looking soil... it makes for more friable Loose soil and adds nutrients to boost the yield.... I seldom use chemical fertilizers.... Simply a lovely harvest of potatoes.... You Sir can feel Proud and Thankful.... Rick

What a blessing and inspiration. I didn’t do potatoes this year because i missed the window but I’m going to definitely try them again and in the ground … I normally do grow bags because the soil is hard to work . I’ll go back through your older videos so I get the process down
