Don't waste time with Hostinger, here's my experience with them

  • If you're looking for the best affiliate hosting provider, do not use hostinger as your website hosting provider unless you are really starting out.
    If you are gaining traffic, you need to migrate immediately.
    Move to Cloudways, here is my affiliate link: bit.ly/3EKgUhh
    Or sign up with a monthly hosting provider where you can cancel anytime if their product starts to decay.
    They charged me once, and I asked for a refund. They refunded via "hostinger balance" and my auto renewal charged me again. I had a huge battle with them.
    Thinking that I received my refund, 3 plus months passed and I did my transaction review and noticed I was still charged. We went one for couple days as to why I was charged, even though I asked for a refund. They told me I had auto-renewal. I asked, why would I ask for a refund and you kept me to renew after it was refunded? this is a horrible practice. After I threaten the person handling the support that I will notify every member of hostinger and tell everyone about this horrible scam, she then refunded me account, hopefully.

    All youtubers are promoting hostinger only because they pay higher affiliate offers. But actually their server is not that good.

    never EVER trust a person that is talking bad about one thing, then promote another where they earn money. Remember, he said his websites are affiliate links websites, and here he is, giving an affiliate link to sign up to a COMPETITOR. You FULL of BS!

    • @jayk
      @jayk  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Haha ok. That doesn't make any sense. But good luck paying for 3 years instead of going monthly. And you're stuck with a hosting platform that constantly gives you issues. And good luck watching videos promoting their own affiliate links and never telling you their bad experiences. My experience is not BS, but if you want to believe it, you can do whatever you want. Sign up for hostinger for all I care. I just recommended a competitor. If you don't want me to recommend any other options then you can figure out which hosting platform is good for you and spend hundreds of dollars switching until you find the right one. Stop looking for other people's recommendations.

    Why would your ISP affect users from accessing your site if the site is hosted on a server in a different location? Your personal ISP has nothing to do with your site unless you hosted the site locally. Was the issue that YOU can't access the Hostinger dashboard and edit sites, or that users from around the world can not view your sites hosted on hostinger?

    • @jayk
      @jayk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why don't you ask Hostinger..this is what wrote "I have checked your IP and it is not greylisted. However, the traceroute from the server to your IP is not completed, so ping can’t be passed
      What does it mean: there are connectivity issues on the trace from your computer to the server’s IP, and because of this you cannot reach the website. No worries, in most cases it’s a temporary issue, which should be solved in several hours, meanwhile, your website visitors from the different IPs will see your website without any problems.
      If the issue happens to you several times, I would recommend contacting your Internet Service Provider, so they can check possible connectivity issues on their side and assign you a different IP address if it’s possible.
      And if your ISP won’t be able to locate the issue and it will persist, you can go for a server transfer and see if it helps"

    • @DoomFinger511
      @DoomFinger511 ปีที่แล้ว

      @All Things SEO with Jayk did you end up seeing if your ISP could assign you a different IP address? That's basically what you're doing with the VPN which you said let you gain access again.

      @@DoomFinger511 i dont think you understand my point. i was in two different countries with several different ISP from where i stayed to cafes if i am getting the 403 issues, how many of my potential visitors to my site am i losing? • @DoomFinger511
      @DoomFinger511 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jayk Oh so you were still getting a 403 when trying to connect using several different IP addresses? Still Using Hostinger Since 6 Years without issue

    • @jayk
      @jayk  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Maybe you haven't used multiple IP address. Some of your visitors are going to get a 403 forbidden error when trying to access your site and they are blaming the ISP blocking from accessing the site. So, if you prefer to miss out on a few potential visitors that are not able to access your site, then you can stick with it. I am using Cloudways and BigScoot for all of my hosting needs now.

      I was traveling to Mexico, Colombia and Brazil. So no. I have used Airbnb, hotels and Starbucks with mixed issues. So either all of them are a conglomerate for the entire south America or something is wrong with hostinger and they blamed the ISP provider. Mind you... I'm not focused on my ISP.. just like any other people who will most likely visit my website won't call their ISP and wait until they turn on my website. That is not the point.

      it depends. one site or multiple? I use cloudways for multiple projects. i have like 25+ sites and i an add more. but it cost $60+ dollars. I also use bigscoot but that is for high performance $35 per month. I don't trust anyone who asks me to commit 2-3 years. they can change a lot and can ruin your site. Look for monthly options, you can leave them anytime, but the price might be bit higher. but for me.. WPX hosting is also good.

    • @jayk
      @jayk  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As I have mentioned several times before. If I was the only one having issues with them.. fine... But the hundreds or thousands of visitors going to your brothers site cannot access because of hostingers infrastructure and they have no idea why and blame the ISP. None of your brothers visitors will contact their ISP to fix this issue so they can visit your brothers site. They will simple not go to his site. He might not see this issue for himself, but I saw it because I have been traveling and using multiple IPs to access my site and realized this issue. Unless your brother is willing to go to every Starbucks, coffee shop, in the entire world or his target market and realize this or not, is up to him. I simply created this video because they are not admitting that this issue is their fault. I moved to cloudways and other hosting site and never had this issue. But your brother is doing fine, let him stay. I rather focus on my visitors.

    Its my opinion* and ive value your opinion as well but im just sharing my thoughts as it is, in my past i got like 2 times refund abt 40usd and i never emailed them cause ive used chat support to reach out and raise out a ticket and they've responded me within mins and issued me with my refund with out asking questions at all and for the record i asked refund after using it for 20days are so, the reason i got my refund is i liked their hosting and wanted to upgrade to business starter plan from my premium plan and it could the isp and you could've asked them to whitelist the site its that simple and i don't know whether they responded or not so ill believe that you've tried that channel as well but on my opinion its better than other hosting providers that ive been used and here those list wix 1m, hostgator 1m, godaddy 1y, bluehost 3m, namecheap 1y, dreamhost 1m from all of those i prefer hostinger not cause its cheap comparing to otber hosting providers that i used before the reason is it is great and the only concern I have they could've got more data centres in India other than the Mumbai servers, like one more data centre in Bangalore or in Chennai or Coimbatore could be better but still im not complaining im happy with what i have:) and my opinion on your refund email ~ you could've raised an ticket through live chat support instead of mailing them sometimes those emails doesn't directly go in and ends up in gateway or never gets to them and you could've got an no reply support email and accidentally sent you concerns to that which are are not intended to receive emails back! Thats it
    But i really feel you brother cause I've been in your shoes a few years back with galaxygate an vps server provider that i have been using it for my discord bot for 4y and we really been enjoying using it until the fked up 🙂 now we switched to digital Ocean for our bot and bots website. But digital Ocean's support is great but the response time is very worst 6 to 8h average
